Highborough
Prosperity : High
It’s located in the northern plains, and survives off of grazing animals and farming. It boasts the strongest cavalry of the land, but is fairly isolated, with its only major road heading towards Blackwell. The plains surrounding Highborough are sparsely populated by farmers and ranchers.
Blackwell
Prosperity : Medium
Blackwell survives off of trade, acting as the primary connection for Highborough to sell its goods, while shiping to Courtwald and Ormarsh. It’s military is focused on protecting the roads and shipping lanes, capable of little other than peace keeping.
Courtwald
Prosperity : Low
Courtwald exists for no reason other than the precious metals found in the nearby hills. It provides a hub for the nearby mines and taverns for failed prospectors.
Ormarsh
Prosperity : Medium
Ormarsh provides a sheltered port for ships, as well as a last stop before entering Getenden forest from the North. The forests have several small villages scattered throughout them, though the marsh to the south-east end of it is largely uninhabited.
Shadowfield
Prosperity : Medium
Shadowfield is aptly named, lying in the shadow of Mount Sowik. The town survives due to the same reason as Courtwald, the precious metals found nearby. The hills around Shadowfield are dark though. Prospectors and miners come to drink to drown the memory of fellow workers dying or disappearing more often than they drink to drown their failures.
Aldshire
Prosperity : High
Aldshire is the hub o the local archipelago. The local islands hold many smaller towns, and locals are often employed to guide ships through to Lorvew or Alden.
Bekden
Prosperity : Medium – High troop count
Bekden’s main export is lumber, due to the surrounding woods. It also provides the main trade connection to Whitel and Fallyn. Bekden has some of the most skilled heavy infantry in the land. Bekden has tense relations with the city Alden.
Alden : Medium – High troop count
Alden is the southern hub of Getenden forest. It is home to many more daring traders, who would try to venture through the Getenden by land, or through the Aldshire archipelago by sea. It has some of the most skilled bowmen of Elysia, and tense relations with Bekden.
Whitel and Fallyn
Prosperity : High
These two cities together are the capitol of magic in Elysia. Both contain large magic academies, and compete over discoveries. The surrounding area is not only home to small villages, but also contains scattered laboratories, where magi may experiment with…darker, arts, such as necromancy.
Lorvew
Prosperity : Low – Low troop count
Lorvew is a small town, with barely a timber wall. It exists as a focus of trade for the surrounding areas, and as a resting point for sailors. The surrounding hills are sparsely populated by both people and trees, and the town maintains very little guard.
Byaba
Prosperity : Medium
Byaba has rich farmlands, being located in the delta of the Ari’a River. It also functions as a haven for sailors taking the long route between Bekden, Whitel, and Fallyn and Aldshire.
