Endo Yasuhito“As for the last two groups, you will be the most active. One of the groups, which is hereby referred to as the Remedy-squad for the remainder of this operation, will focus on crowd-control, getting a full view of the damage and start fixing things. You will be in clear sight for every citizen of Rukongai to see today, so keep yourself composed. I will appoint to you a temporary leader – one of my left-hand men, Tenohira Tessei!”
- Birth of a Shinigami -
Yasuhito watched as the rather overweight man made himself known to the Shinigami recruits. Not best pleased with his assignment Yasuhito watched the so dubbed 'Hunter-squad' fall out to find the culprits. Although he was aware that his combat talents weren't very evolved he still wanted a taste of what it was like to be a real Soul Reaper. Looking over to Aoshi, one of the other new recruits he could see the decision weighing on him. "I will join the Hunter-Squad!" he finally exclaimed. He was big, towering over the majority of other Shinigami he was obviously best suited to his choice.
Watching other Shinigami flock to the Squad leader Yasuhito decided it would be best to make his intentions clear as the bigger man did. He walked calmly over to Tenohira and looked him in the eye. "Endo Yasuhito." he proclaimed. despite his preference to the hunting squad he knew that without a sword, he wouldn't be much help. "I will do what I can." he added before taking a back seat. He wasn't one for socializing, at least not with strangers. He would have to get to know his fellow recruits soon but he was determined to put it off for as long as he could.
Damning his failure to contact his spirit properly Yasuhito promised himself that he would try harder to draw out his Zanpakuto. It was already holding him back and he severely hated that feeling. He calmed himself for a moment, saying to himself that it was natural. If he hadn't yet progressed it wasn't his time. That was one of Endo's strengths. He was able to calm his mind, and almost like an out of body experience he could comfort and analyse himself. It was something he was used to doing, many people found it strange and unsettling and so he had not told anyone of it since.
Endo cleared it from his mind as he focused on the task ahead, looking around he could see the mobilization of the others. New recruits? this mission seemed more important than to let mere recruits handle it. To give experience, to not frighten civilians and to minimize potential losses? Yasuhito found the words of Captain Ichitachi unsettling. Did the regulars of the Shinigami ranks cause this much distress? were they unable to control there power to the degree of collateral damage? Yasuhito would have to shake the thoughts from his mind for now.
