    CHAHIRO&JAC WAKFU RP

    Spoiler

(Last post from the last RP)

Baichi sat bitterly as Chahiro and Jin prepare for their night out, already feeling shitty from Armand swiping his Rachel away from him. The fan girls of sorts who worked here surrounded him as the door busted open, surprising all of the group. A short chubby, sober as ever pandawa in a oversized coat covered in snow. "Can I help you?" Chahiro questioned, as Baichi sighed in frustration. He scratched the back of the head as soon as all the members of the club synchronized their voice in astonishment. "Master!?" "Wait. Do you mean to tell me that people actually want Baichi around? Like, seriously?" Baichi's irritated glance silenced the Cra, As the panda messenger continued his rant. "Master Baichi! You must come back for the funeral and for your induction ceremony! I know how much you dislike it there, but it is imperitive that you return!" "When is it? I'll be there." "In 3 days time. Please make all due haste." "I'll see you in 3 days."

That was obviously a lie, but no one needed to know. He turned to Chahiro and Jin, not changing his expression, "Brakmar is a long way from here. I'll go head on there by tonight. Will you contact my Whorephanage and notify my bottom bitch?" He snickered by his own comment. She'll be the first one to be on the phone." He grabbed his scarf from the rack and hastily pecked Chahiro's cheek to see if Jin would be pissed off.

"So. What do you think is more likely? Baichi having a sudden change of heart and being proactive or lying and planning on running away as soon as possible?" Chahiro queried with a raised eyebrow. Jin snorted, "You even have to ask? If we leave now, we can probably catch him before we have to do serious tracking to find him." Chahiro and Jin sighed as their romantic night off went down the drain. "Do you want to chase him down or should I?" the Sacrier asked, taking off her heels in order to run faster. "I would volunteer but you look like you want to rip him apart more than I do. And I know that kiss was to aggravate me. I'll start packing and making arrangements as well as send someone to go find Rachel and Armand and then have them contact Baichi's...."bottom bitch"," Jin finished with disdain. "Darling, what ever would I do without you? You're so efficient. It's kind of hot. I'll show you just how much I appreciate it after I go chase down a far-too-sober Pandawa. Also, let Rachel and Armand enjoy themselves a bit longer. They'll be back at 11 and we can fill them in, then. I'll be back soon," she left after letting Jin replace Baichi's kiss.

Chahiro walked out of the club and turned to look at her bouncer. They had played this game often enough that the large imposing Foggernaut just tilted its head in the direction in which the Pandawa had fled. She nodded her thanks and took off in that direction, following the sounds of offended sensibilities and the sight of disgusted looks. She saw him about 10 feet in front of her and picked up her pace and when she was close enough, she pounced upon his back; they both fell to the ground in a tangle of limbs. "Gotcha! How about we go to the nearest bar and you tell me what that was all about, huh?" Chahiro questioned as she pulled on Baichi's arm, trying to tug him to his feet.

"Hngh, ...Chahiro!?" Baichi exclaimed in surprise, not expecting the sacriette to be here. He sighed with an irritated look before he nodded. "Alright.. I could use a drink before leaving anyways." The pandawa pulled her in to the nearest bar in the city before she could question anything. He seemed to be.. avoiding a particular group. He grabbed the booth in a far isolated area, roughly pushing Chahiro in her seat. "Well, here we are, Chahiro. Whaddaya want to know?" He didn't seem as jolly as he usually was, although he still possessed a slight smirk on his face. You noticed me bailing, huh? he added, as the waitress approached to take their orders.

"It could have only been more noticeable if you had been on fire. So, what's the rush? And what was with that-"she tilted her head towards the group that they had passed when they walked in, "don't look so surprised. It's my job to notice body language." She placed her hand on Baichi's forearm and lowered her head so she could look directly into Baichi's eyes. "You would tell me if something were seriously wrong, wouldn't you? I know you like to think that none of us have really gotten attached, but just because Rachel only has eyes for Armand doesn't mean that none of us care about your welfare." She leaned back with a tired sigh, "Damn, now I need alcohol. You're paying for this, by the way. Call it a business expense or something." She was pleased when Baichi huffed out a laugh and allowed herself a small smile in return.

"I told myself that I was going to let you go at your own pace, but I'm far too curious for that. But I need to say I'm sorry for your loss of your Master. It was just shocking, I mean I always knew you weren't as you seemed but the Assistant Master of a Temple is not what I expected. I know we're all really bad about talking about our feelings, except Rachel, but do you want to talk about it?"

"I don't mind talking about it," The pandawa muttered as he snatched a bottle of beer from the waitress and popped it open. "I just never expected that I'd be talking about all this to you." ...But then, she'd understand. Baichi took a swing before glancing over to the waitress that served them earlier. "But to be honest, I'm not really supposed to be the next Master. You're the first to to tell this but I'm--" The sudden quake interrupts Baichi, as other customers and workers around them struggles to hold onto the nearest chair.

"Chahiro!" The pandawa grabs the Sacrier's arms before she could fall back, pulling her in beneath the table.

Chahiro and Baichi cling to each other and the table as the shaking causes glasses and decorations to crash upon the floor, sending sharp shards of glass and porcelain flying across the floor. The quaking of the earth stops a minute or so later and the sound of terrified sobbing fills the bar as its patrons deal with the adrenaline rush. The bartender thanks whoever put an edge on the shelves holding the alcohol, as they prevented most of his stock from going to waste. The waitresses start sweeping up the broken glass while handing out free drinks to keep the patrons relaxed and occupied as they wait for most of the glass to be swept up. While reaching for the glass being offered by one of the waitresses, Chahiro notices a long shard of glass sticking out of her arm; she pulls it out with a gory squelch and wraps the wound with a cloth napkin. "Thanks, Baichi. If it hadn't been for your quick thinking, I would probably have it even worse. And look, we even got free booze out of the whole ordeal!" Chahiro finishes with a laugh and a long pull from her glass. "You know Jin is going to blame me that you got hurt while you were with me," points out Baichi. "I realize that. Even though he shouldn't. I'll make sure to point out heroic you were, pulling me under the table and such. But since it seems like it's going to take a while for them to sweep up the rest of the glass, you should finish what you were saying before."

Baichi remembered, and recollected what he was meaning to say.
"I'm not supposed to take over the role as the Temple Master. Or at least, not yet."
He grimaced slightly as he noticed Chahiro's baffled glance, "Don't look at me like that. It's really difficult to explain."
Pandawa took the offer from the waitress and took the beer from her hands. "I'm even sure that Panda kid that came all the way here's up to something."
"Aren't you just being paranoid?" He pouted at Chahiro's giggle, already tipsy. "No. I'm just saying that those pandawas might be trying to kill me!"
His voice got louder, as he tried to persuade laughing Sacriette, dangling her arm from her chair, also slightly drunk.

It's early in the morning when Baichi and Chahiro manage to stumble back to the club, leaning on each other as they had stayed up drinking. Baichi has a hold on Chahiro's shoulders as he works to keep her from stumbling into anything or anyone of import. Hearing the commotion, Jin came down the stairs, Rachel and Armand a close second. "Chahiro! Where were you? We were so worried, especially with the earthquake! Are you guys alright?" Chahiro giggles and tips over, almost falling and taking Baichi with her if not for the Pandawa's surprising steadiness in the face of his inebriated state. "Y-....ugghhhh....you guys sh-should have SEEN Baili..Bai-....UGH.....Baichwi's moves. He totsally saved me! He's my hero!" she reaches forward to kiss him on the cheek but due to her far-from-sober state, it ends up being more slobber on his furry cheek than anything else before tilting too far and almost crashing to the ground.

Jin fortunately catches her and grabs her chin to look into her flushed face and glassy eyes, "Just how much did you let her drink?!" Jin turns on Baichi, outraged at the sight of his lover acting in such a disgraceful manner; it also reminds him of the night in the Sadida Kingdom after their fateful battle with the Osmodas and his lackeys. Remembering how that night ended prompts Jin to look to Armand and Rachel for a bucket or a recepticle of some kind, only to see that Armand is already holding one out, "Trust me. I was the first one she got drunk with. I am far too intimate with the contents of her stomach." It was just in time as Chahiro starts whining piteously about "not feeling good" before promptly clinging to the bucket and vomiting. "Yup. Just as I remember. At least she's consistent." Armand remarks, looking away to give her some measure of privacy and to distract Rachel from seeing the sight of her employer and mentor expelling her entrails. Jin rubbed Chahiro's back in soothing circles and spoke to her softly while the others convened at a corner table in the club, feeling lucky that the Club floor closed only an hour earlier, thus preventing valuable customers from seeing the owner of the establishment acting in such a manner.

    ~20 minutes later~
Nursing a glass of water and some pain capsules that Jin had put together for her, Chahiro once again sent a prayer of thanks to the Heavenly Beings Above that she managed to catch Jin's eye and that he was such a quick study in the arts of healing. "So, Baichi was telling me earlier that he suspects foul play in the sudden death of his Master and that the messenger wasn't being completely truthful with us. I didn't notice anything off, but I've been wrong before. I trust Baichi's instincts, especially when it's something so close to home like this. I think we can all agree that it's a matter that needs to be dealt with. We have to be precise and so very, very careful. If Baichi's right, we're dealing with someone who can take out a Master. Savaurmo was small potatoes compared to the power of someone capable of killing a Master. Even though this reeks of a trap, we really have no choice but to go and check it out." "Heh, "we"? Inviting yourself along, eh?" Baichi drawls, a bit upset since Jin forbid Baichi from drinking anymore for the day. "But of course. Do you think we would let you walk into this by yourself?" The silence is telling.

"Look, Baichi. We have no idea what we're dealing with here. There's no way in all the Heavenly Realms that we're letting you go into this alone, right?" "Right!", Rachel interjects, pumping her fist with enthusiasm. The rest of the group remains quiet until the Sacrier deathglares them into compliance. "So it's settled then. I'm going to go pass out, now. Probably for the next five hours. Rachel, I can trust you and Armand to prepare all of the supplies for our travel, can't I?" She waits for Rachel's nod of approval before continuing, "Good. Don't wake me up until we're about ready to go. Good night. Morning. Whatever," with that Chahiro drags herself and Jin up to a guest bedroom as she's far too tired to walk back to their shared apartment.
