    Lands of the Continuum

    This is the submission thread for new territories in The Continuum. It acts mainly as a repository for possible areas we may add later to the continuum for factions or individuals to fight over. This will also where you submit any changes to the land caused by battles or new architecture. Any lands submitted here must be in the following format:

    The island is somewhere in the ocean, with it's only inhabitants being the prison staff, and some other random creatures willing to live near the creature that roams the island.

    The Prison is located at the top of the mountain, it has a constant patrol of guard, Its staff consists of a hand full of medical staff, and an onsite warden, and there is a creature watching over everything known as a
    Death Wriath. Contracted to watch over the island and to kill any one who tries to escape without permission:

    its a island that's in a cave in the ocean that leads below the water level. The cove is merely a 20 feet radius half entrance. That soon reaches a small part of land that's allows you to port in the watery tomb.
    General size- 20 mile area roughly. once you enter the cave but there are a lot of twisted paths so you rarely can see all of it.

    restrictions- There are walls and water everywhere movement is tough between the patches of land are so small most should only be able to move back and forth form the iand plots without falling off.
    My computer once had over 300 cookies. So I put it on a diet.

    General Size: The temple Grounds are probably a ¾ wide a mile by ½ a mile long, the outer part being building and shrines, the inner being gardens and flat meditation grounds.

    Magical Properties: This area is bound by Serene and Peaceful Spirits and a natural aura, which while greatly, reduce drastically any evil or offensive magic and making good or defensive magic much more potent. Spiritual energy from those who train there aren’t boosted or hampered, but the flow of energy within one’s body is accelerated and more easily used.

    Beings of evil alignment or evil intent will feel like they are being looked upon someone that isn’t there and also feel weaker within the perimeter of the temple. It is caused by the peaceful spirits trying to keep the peace within the vicinity of the said temple


    Restrictions: There isn’t much restriction as the place is open and then goes into a heavy forest, so it has no restrictions other than the effects get negated from the spirits once you are out of the aura (Totaling to a Square Mile of the Aura)

    Urban city surrounded by a mountainous region that isolates the city itself and anyone in it, with only a few choke points that leads out into the world. These choke points are varied in with the smallest being 25 feet while the biggest is as wide as a football field is long. The city is semi modern third world country status if anything.

    Adamant Citadel


    The size is quite great with the base in likened to traveling through a small city of temples, finding your enemy is half the battle. The higher one goes the more abundant energy can be taped into but the harder it is on the human body.

    History: High in the mountains of Badaiar, in the dwelling-place of the gods themselves, the adamant citadel city was forged by the hands of mortals. It was carved and crafted out of white limestone, through eons of manual labor in the frigid conditions of eternal winter, to defy nature itself. The thin mountain air of the pass make's it hard for mortals to breath. This place is known to having a dark and deep connection to the beyond and thus unholy and holy cultist from all over the world have made pilgrimages into the mountains, to dedicate another temple to the site, constructed and added onto by their followers. The monumental, heavy buildings pierced the mountain, open to all the winds, defying all enemies and opposing even the harsh hands of time.

    Magical Properties: Wind, Ice and water magic and power's are greatly enhanced in this environment. Those who have power over the storms are also at a great advantage. Dark magic as well as divine magic is abundant in the place and is thus also greatly empowered here as well. Fly is tricky in here as the winds, cold, and low visibility due to snow storms make it almost suicidal rather then any real advantage.

    Description: Ten ancient trees serve as support beams for a skyward village. Each platform is roughly 120' by 120' accommodation on each platform are: shops, homes, a bank and a chapel. Each platform is connected by wooden rope bridges that support massive weight due to magical treatment. The ropes however can be cut and planks can be broken by enough force. The platforms are stacked in height the middle tree housing the bank is the highest at 200 feet, the lowest houses the elevator lift at 75 feet. Mud, dirt, hard packed soil and rocks line ground bellow the city.

    Populace: Up to the first poster. Can be bustling with activity, lone guards, or in the middle.

    Participant Limit: 2-4

    Magical Properties: Earth, wood, and wind users would have a slight advantage.

    Restrictions: Possibly extremely large combatants would be at a disadvantage. Wood Elves would blend in nicely.

    The first floor is open to the public, should they pay the price of admission. The east and west wings of the mansion have the Day and Night Bars, respectively, and these bars are known to have large parties with many important visitors. These two rooms are sound proof. To the north is a dinning hall and a showroom. There are smaller rooms located around the Night Bar that can be reserved for smaller get togethers, as well as a library located around the Day Bar. Besides these rooms are some smaller, less important ones that are mainly there for looks and to walk through while going from place to place.

    The second floor houses most of the staff employed by the mansion, including a lot of lower level security. There are only two elevators to get up to this floor, one on the east wing and one on the west, both needing special keycards, and some stairwells in the entry hall. Any doors from here on up need keycards as well. They can be hacked or destroyed given enough effort, but it isn't easy and will take some time. A lot of the walls and floors are bulletproof and it's designed so that a small number of security can hold off invaders at special choke points. Another elevator is to the north on this floor that has a security checkpoint that must be cleared with an even higher level keycards.

    Fancy rooms house more important guests and personal in the west wing. The east wing holds a lot of the more vital equipment that keeps the mansion operating and is encased yet again in bulletproof material. Middle rooms are for these special occupants enjoyment, such as studies and lounges, as well as a pillar room for fighting if enemies get this far. At the end of the pillar room leads to a final elevator leading up to the top floor. Key cards allowing access into this elevator are extremly hard to come by.

    You're greeted to this entryway and the most elite security forces employed here. One way leads west and one way leads east; the private rooms and master bedrooms of the two owners of the Elscapades Estate. There's rumored to be a room with a lot of cats in the eastern wing.

    Personnel: Veltirinus and a man known as Vergo are co-owners of this estate, although Vergo is more in charge of the business aspect while Veltirinus is in charge of security and the property. Vergo is dressed in a tuxedo and a white facemask. His real name is unknown. He's a very wealthy businessman, even more so then Veltirinus, who's also filthy rich. Veltirinus occupies the top floor east wing like a king, which he considers himself to be due to this estate belonging to it's own "country" called Elscalptia. The security teams are part of his faction and will be explained here
