Damien saw the beer in the kids hands and couldn't do anything but swallow hard. "Well, I don't want to get you in trouble with your father." He said thinking about it a little. This may be the last time he could drink for a year so he really didn't want to pass up the chance but he would never live it down if she got in trouble. He would also not want her father to be pissed at him all year. He smiled at the kids though. "But if you want to we can go as long as you or I wont get in trouble."

Anna shrugged slightly, not really sure what to do. Usually she listened to what her father said, but tonight, she was feeling rather rebellious, though she had no intentions on drinking. "Sure I guess, it actually sounds kind of fun." She said with a small, almost unsure smile. The guys cheered, one of them getting in the middle of Damien and Anna and slinging an arm around both of their shoulders. "So, are you guys the party types?" He asked, looking them both over for a minute. "You sir, look like you could be, but you..." He paused, eyeing Anna again slightly. "You not so much. I'd even go as far to say that this was your first party little miss." Anna blushed, turning her head away for a moment. "Yeah, I'm not much of a party goer. Really never been asked before." She finally said, a feeling of embarrassment overtaking her. "It's okay. I'll teach you the ropes." He smiled. Anna blushed harder.

The other guys weren't that attractive. Really, they were just that big old redneck type that you would assume to see in a place like this. Though they were younger, they both had a decent beer belly on them as well as a small beard. The guy that was talking to them now however was rather attractive. He stilled dressed like a cowboy, but he had a nice lean build and strong facial features. Really, he pulled off the look rather well and honestly, Anna couldn't help, but to swoon a little. After all, this was probably one of the first attractive to guys to actually sort of flirt with her. Not to say Damien wasn't good looking, because he was, but he just talked to her like any ordinary person would, this guy however, seemed interested in her, something that she wasn't use to, but liked.

"So, what's your guys name?" He asked, casually removing his arm from Damien, but still keeping it slung over Anna's shoulder. Though he talked to the both of them, he mostly just had his eyes on Anna, making her blush even more, if that was even possible. "My name's Anna and that's my... My Friend Damien." She said softly, really not sure what to call him. "Ah... I see, so he's not your boyfriend?" Anna shook her head no. " you have one?" Again, she shook her head. The guy smiled even more, nodding slightly. "That's good. Well, my name is Travis, nice to meet you Anna." He said flashing her a large white smile. Again Anna felt like she could melt. "And you as well Damien. Oh! Look, we're heer already! You guys can help yourself to anything. Let loose and have fun!" He exclaimed.

Damien could tell that this guy was bad news once he started to flirt and make Anna fall head over heels already. He would have to keep an eye on them too. "Been a party animal since I started high school." He said in response to his party animal comment. He was not liking how close this Travis guy was to Anna. He got a tad closer to Anna to make sure nothing happened. All that was running through his head was her getting hurt and her father killing him no questions asked. When they got to the party and the other guys back was turned, Damien leaned down to her ear. "Watch yourself...this guy seems to be trouble." He whispered to her hoping that she would keep his words in mind for the night. He looked around to see that it was not like the parties he went to.

Small torch like lanterns were set in the ground all over the place making it easy to see. The location of the party was set deep in the woods, a small pond in the middle of it all. Some people were swimming, others were just standing around talking to one another. There was music blaring from one of the trucks nearby making it slightly hard to hear, causing people to have to get close to talk. Anna jumped slightly at Damien suddenly talking in her ear. 'What myself?' She thought to herself, shaking her head in confusion. She shrugged it off quickly though, Travis didn't seem like a bad guy at all, Damien was probably just be over worried or something.

"So pretty lady, care for a drink?" Travis asked as he leaned in towards her. She could feel the breath on her neck, that shot shivers up her spin. Anna nodded in almost a trance, completely ignoring the fact that she made a vow to herself not to ever drink. Slowly she followed after Travis, glancing back at Damien for a moment and mouthing for him to have fun. "Here ya go. It's not strong so it shouldn't affect you too badly." He smiled, handing her a red drink. Slowly Anna took it, smelling it for a moment before finally putting it to her lips and sipping from it. It tasted fruity at first, but as it went down it had a slight kick to it. "That's actually really good, what is it?" She asked with a smile. "My friends secret blend." He said simply before walking towards the pond, in which Anna followed.

Damien did not like the look of the drink Travis gave her. It looked to suspicious for it to just be a normal party drink. He than saw them walk towards the creek and had a horrible feeling run up and down his body. He followed them but at a distance so it didn't seem like he was. He was not going to let her get hurt because he said he wanted to go to this stupid bonfire. He watched them carefully hardly making a single sound at all. He hoped that he was wrong about the whole thin...he really really did.

((I'm taking a slightly different approach to this, at least for a tiny bit. ^^))

Travis sat down at the edge of the pond, Anna following suit, neither of them having any idea that they were actually being followed. After a few minutes of talking Travis made his first move and a rather cheesy one at that. Slowly he yawned, his hand going up the air ever so slightly before gently going down as he wrapped it around Anna. It was one of those stupid cheesy moves that you saw people in movies do when they were at a theater or something, but Anna didn't seem to mind. Actually, she seemed to love it, slowly inching closer to him. "So, I didn't think you'd actually come to something like this." He said as he glanced over at her, his eyes running up and down her body for a moment. "Well, I never thought I'd be asked, especially by you." She giggled like a schoolgirl. Travis just smiled, drawing her closer to him. "Well why not? You're pretty, and seem like a great person to hang out with and you're pretty. Oh wait, did I already say that?" Anna giggled like crazy again, her face turning a soft shade of red.

"You know we went to school together, right?" He asked suddenly. Anna took a moment to think, but she couldn't recall seeing him there. "No, I don't. I wasn't much of a talker in school anyhow." She sighed, turning away slightly embarrassed. "Hey..." He cooed. "It's alright, look at me. I wasn't like this when I was in school, so that's why you probably don't remember me. I lost a lot of weight since then." He explained. "Hey, please look at me. It's okay really, no need to feel ashamed or embarrassed, trust me. I was more than an outcast when I was in school, it's alright." Slowly he cupped her cheek, and gently turned her head so she'd have to look at them. "You're so pretty, do you know that?" He asked, but Anna shook her head no. "Well you are and you should know that." Finally he made his move, leaning in ever so slightly. Anna's froze for a moment, before she realized what was going on. Slowly she shut her eyes and leaned in too, before both of their lips met. It started out sweet and simple until he gently pushed her back onto the ground, slipping a tongue between her lips. She went along with it, until things started to get too heated.

She felt his hand on her bare thigh, slowly inching its way up her leg until it reached the hem of her dress. She could feel her heartbeat quicken and something told her to stop. "Travis." She said quickly as she pulled away from the kiss. He glanced down at her, his hand still on her thigh. "I... This is kind of fast for me. Can we slow down?" She asked. Travis let out a soft sigh, but nodded with a smile. "Of course, I'm sorry for rushing things and if I scared you." He said softly, before finally pulling away himself and sitting up. "We should get back to the party though. You're friend is probably wondering where you went. I don't want things to end here though. I'm not the kind of guy who just kisses anyone, so... Would you like to go on a date with me sometime? We can take things slow." He smiled. Anna's heart skipped a beat, it wasn't often that she was asked out on dates. "Sure, I'd love to!" She nearly exclaimed. Travis just smiled, before pulling out a pen from his pocket and gently taking her hand to right down his number on. "Call me tomorrow and maybe we could set something up alright." He said as he stood up. "Of course." Anna said with joy as she too rose from the ground. "Alright great, hope to hear from you tomorrow then beautiful." And with that, Travis walked back to the party, leaving Anna there with a large smile on her face. She glanced back down at the number on her hand before letting out a soft, happy sigh and walking off to find Damien.

Damien had watched the whole thing with a sigh when he stopped before getting to far and something horrible happened. It felt as if a huge weight off his shoulder was lifted. As he began to walk away to seem like he was not following them a very attractive blonde walked up to him seeming to be a bit tipsy herself. "You must be that new boy in town that I have heard so much about." She said in a very proactive way.

Damien smiled at her. "well that depends on what you have heard about me." He said still keeping an eye out for Anna so they could leave soon and not get in too much trouble. "Only good things she said as she placed a small piece of paper in his pocket getting close to him. "Name and number are on the card. Call if your looking to have a good time sometime." She said before walking away still staggering drunk. He looked at the card than put it back in his coat pocket. He soon say Anna and he waved her down hopefully she would see him.

All Anna could think about was Travis and their date tomorrow, wondering what she'd wear, what would go on. She couldn't help, but to wonder if he'd possibly one day be her boyfriend. Anna jumped slightly when it seemed like Damien suddenly appeared in front of her. "Oh! Hi, I was just looking for you." She said smiling from ear to ear. "So, have you been enjoying yourself?" She asked as she began to walk back towards the party, not even knowing that he had been watching the entire time. Slowly she walked towards where they were having their drinks and grabbed an ice cold Smirnoff and opened it, using the hem of her dress. She popped the lid off and tossed it to the side, before glancing back at Damien. Really, she wasn't sure what had gotten into her, but for tonight, she just felt like having fun. "Want one?" She asked softly, the smile still on her face.

Damien was really unsure how to answer that question. "I think one of us should stay sober." He said declining in order to be able to watch over her. "And well I got offered by what I think was a hooker." He said with a small laugh. He looked back at her with his hand behind his head. He really wanted one but knew it was best if he didn't. He was still not too sure about Travis and how her father would react if they both came home hammered. "Did you have fun? You disappeared for a little while?" He asked wanting to know her opinion of the whole thing.
