Do you rise up against the crown, or do you defend it?

This timeline diverges from ours not long before the American War of Independence. Instead of violently rising up against British rule, the Americans peacefully split from the UK. They formed a Constitutional Monarchy and ruled with an alliance with Britain. By 1850, they had occupied all the land that our America had at the time. However, in this time, Alaska was seceded to the British by the Russians, and Hawaii was quietly taken by the French. However, the Kingdom of Columbia, this timeline's name of the United States, conquered the entirety of Mexico, ruling from the jungles of the Yucatan to the snowy forests of Maine.

However, even though it was far from Europe, this kingdom was not spared the revolutionary echoes. Soon, the Royals began to take more and more power from the National Assembly. The public was soon split between the revolutionaries, and the loyalists. Even the revolutionaries were split in their goals. The military was not spared, either. Many in the upper echelons of the Royal Army felt that they should be the rulers.

This all came to a head in 1887. Revolutionaries rose up throughout the country, and many battalions in the army turned against the royals. The country was now in a revolution. In the fields and the streets, in the cities and the cottages, the Kingdom is divided, and it can only get worse.

Biography:
Dwight Lancaster was born in the middle of the province of Pennsylvania. His father, along with his grandfather, ran the farm that they lived on. He grew up with three other brothers and a sister. His mother and sister tended to the animals like the sheep and the cows whilst he, his brothers, his father, and his grandfather worked in the fields. However, he received an education in the local village, and when he was 18, he moved to the city of Scranton, where he joined the Royal Army of Columbia.

Serving with distinction in the Guatemalan and Beliezan campaigns, he was promoted to the rank of Corporal and assigned to the Royal Guard, a very honourable distinction. When the revolutions started, he was assigned to the Crown Princess of the Royal Family.

Name: Astrid Nicoline Maire Sinclair

Hair Color/Style: Dark Chocolate Brown, very wavy.

Appearance: Her face contains very angelic features, full red lips, a straight nose, very bright and curious green eyes. Her skin is soft and free of acne. Astrid’s body type is thin and slender, but has curves to it that makes every man weak in the knees. Her dress is straight, strapless and sleeveless, her dress is light blue with the black slit in the middle. Her dress is in a line with her curves. Around her neck is a black rose necklace with a sliver drop under the bud of the black rose. Astrid is often considered the Princess of Angels or the Princess of Roses by her people and her maids.

Personality: She’s appears shy around her people and her subjects, but with her family is a tad bit lippy and snarky. Her family claims she has a “sliver tongue” and knows when to use it appropriately. She dislikes protection and some of the guards her family puts with her, causing her to have a new guard replacement every few weeks or so. She cares for everyone around her, even though her stubbornness covers it. Her hobbies include reading, writing and piano playing.

Bio: The 6th daughter of Nicolas John Ivan and Nicoline Marie Chole Sinclair, she’s the youngest of her brothers and sisters. Because she’s the youngest she is the last in line for the throne and is over judged. Which is fine, because she really doesn’t care for the throne or the idea of coming queen. She is the Princess of the Royal Crown. Her family is unaware that the uprising of her people is an revolution about to happen and is given protection of the Royal Guard.
