J ran across the rooftops, rain pattered his face. His boots clapped against the concrete. Puddles splashed and as he landed on each rooftop with a roll the leather of his jacket scrubbed against the rough surface. He slid over an air vent and it clanged with the echoing sound of thin metal. Then he stopped at the edge of a roof. The sound of cars below, both the ones on wheels and those following the airway system. The building across was separated by a long gap and was lined with thousands of glass windows. The majority of it seemed to be office space but the top five floors had tinted windows so what remained beyond them was unknown.

J put a hand to his ear, "Robin I'm in position. Tell your brother to cut the power when I say go, I need to prepare." With that he tossed a small back pack from his shoulder onto the roof. Opening it up it revealed a machine with cables extending out either end. He fashioned on cable to a steel pipe extending from the roof, tying it around and then locking the magnet tip to it. With the other cable he attached it to a mechanism like a cross bow and fired it at the building across the way. It land on a floor six levels down from where he was currently at between the windows of the floor above.

J stretched his arms out and took a deep breath, exhaling slowly. His breath formed a cloud of vapor in the cold rain. It was in the middle of the day but the sky was cloudy and the storm was thick so the sun hardly made it through. With the lights out no one would see what caused the windows to break after he did what he was about to do. He took another breath and grabbed onto the mechanism which had been tightening the cables and lifting itself up moments before. It had a handle to hold onto which was meant for you to strap yourself down to but J couldn't do that and have a quick release. He just hoped the rain didn't cause him to slip.

He grabbed on and took a few steps back, "Let's run through the plan one more time and then I'll go. I make it up the elevator shaft and up to the upper floors. That's when I'll be high enough to receive the hacked schematics. With those I'll head to Rutherford's door and pay him a visit. I'll be outgunned by his guard and with his focus on me he won't notice the tinting of the window deteriorating. Once that's gone you guys will know where he's at and you take him out. I'll make my way to the roof and we make our escape." He waited for the info to be received and then he took one last breath, "Go." Then he jumped.
