"Touchdown," he joked as he grabbed his shirt, but didn't feel like putting it on at the moment, so he followed his new girlfriend into the kitchen.

I looked over to him as he walked into the kitchen. "Would do you want? Eggs? Pancakes? My dad stopped at the store and stalked up. I guess he thinks there is some kind of storm coming." I said softly and shrugged slightly.

"How about an omlete?" He asked and hugged her from behind, "I love omletes," he smiled.

I smiled and laid my arms over his as he hugged me from behind. "Sure. Anything you want in it?" I asked softly and looked over my shoulder at him.

Silas smiled and kissed her on the lips when she looked back, "how about Olives, mushrooms, cheese, simple stuff really,"

I smiled against his lips and kissed him back. "Okay, you want to get the stuff you want while I start the eggs?" I asked softly and looked back at him again.

"Yes ma'm," he said as he reluctantly let her go as he got the ingredients out onto the counter.

I smiled slightly, rolling my eyes as I got the eggs out. I set them on the counter and grabbed a bowl and something to mix the eggs and whatever he wanted into it. I made things different. "Hope you don't mind the way I make it." I said softly and looked over at him.

"Course not," Silas shrugged, "different is good," he said and came over beside her, resting his hand around the small of her back as he watched her cook.

I smiled as I felt his hand on my back. I sighed softly and continued with what I was doing. Someone I'd met when I moved here was throwing a party just for the hell of it. I was thinking about going. But it all depended on if my father wouldn't be home or not.
