I nodded. "I remember more than my dad does. But I remember a lot. But my dad also doesn't know I have a few of her photos hidden in my dresser and jewelry box. And yea, I was five when she was murdered." I said softly.

I sighed softly. "Her birthday is April 25th. She had green eyes and dirty blonde hair. She loved to be outside, loved to draw and write. She..." I stopped and took a deep breath, feeling tears coming to my eyes. I hadn't talked about her to anyone in forever.

Silas realized he made her cry and paused the movie, "hey baby come here," he said and brought her into a hug, "i'm sorry to make you remember like that," he said softly and rubbed her back.
I wrapped my arms around his neck, burying my face in his chest. "It's okay." I said in a soft whisper. "I just...no one has ever asked about her before...your the first person to ever seem to want to know about her." I added.

"Do I get a prize?" Silas asked, trying to be funny and lighten the mood, "but seriously, how come nobody's ever asked?"
I smiled and giggled softly. "Maybe you'll get a prize." I said softly and giggled again. Shaking my head. "No, usually as soon as I tell them I was raped...when I think I can trust them enough...They break it off then, say they don't want to be with someone who's been raped...too much work..." I said softly and looked down.

"well i'm no handyman,' Silas said attempting a joke and lifted Ashlee's chin to look her in the eyes, "but you loook like all you need is a few teaks and a couple bolts tightened," he smiled and kissed her on the lips.
I smiled against his lips and kissed him back. He was seeming to do a good job so far. This was the most relaxed I'd ever been around a guy.

Silas slipped his tongue into her mouth as they kissed, resting his hand on her cheek, "want to not watch the movie again?" he laughed softly between kisses.
