it doesn't matter
"What would you like to know? How I happened to get sucked into that accursed pit of despair or would you rather I tell you about my time in the crypt?" Shaking his head wistfully, "I don't remember much about my time in there, mostly flashes and images, but ask me anything you might want to know."

Leon
*He didn't turn to look at Elias, as he knew this would cause him discomfort*
Tell me about the rest of the creatures that were with you at that time, and their purposes, as well as you can remember them. *he hoped what Elias would say, wouldn't scare Anabelle, but he had to know about what this town was about to face*

it doesn't matter
"Wish I could tell ya something, but only have some instincts to rely on here. I am pretty sure I had the coldest soul down there. Doesn't mean I was the worst just that I had the most black painted on my soul. Of course there could have been something without a soul down there as well, but I can't sense them."

Leon
*He nodded and sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose. He was but a traveler, and never once had he tried to play the hero. What he should do was leave the next day and continue his journey to nowhere and everywhere. Yet....why did he feel he should stay? Was there something here of importance? Leon had come to know....one's instincts often held special significance. But then...what? Should he seek out what felt important and take it away or....Was he one who would organize a battle? Definitely not. Yet, his next words betrayed him.*
Elias...do you have a purpose to exist? A goal, if you will?

it doesn't matter
Frowning in confusion, "I was a prince, my goal was to surpass or kill my brothers and eventually usurp my fathers throne." He states this in a completely matter-of-fact tone like it was common sense. His brow furrows further, "Why so interested, this town is only full of mortals anyway? I can't sense any ancient powers here, except living beings." Shaking his head he looks directly at the Sun God, "You should tread carefully on your path, are mortals really that important?"
-
Leon
*He looked at Elias in the eyes for a moment*
You don't know humans like I do, having lived among them. They are...remarkable in ways you wouldn't imagine. Yet, while you and the other beings were trapped, the world changed, Elias. Now it's the era of humans, and what's supernatural stays hidden. What we are is considered but a myth, a superstition, and we make sure to stay in the shadows. Should what might happen in this town cause this situation to change....I'd find it more troublesome. Thus, if I decide to stay, something I haven't yet, I want your aid, for which you will be rewarded. *his tone calm but with hidden power*

Looking Leon straight in the eyes is an interesting pain, completely disorienting Elias long enough to leave him open for some kind of attack. "I have walked among humans, I have known many. I can hear some of the ones I have killed if I meditate long enough. All they do is destroy each other whether literally or figuratively they are just as worthless and chaotic as imps and far more entertaining to torture."
Pausing briefly Elias finally gains control of his senses though it causes him to flash his true nature briefly to anyone looking. "You have no reward tempting enough to purchase my sword arm either."

Leon
*At the moment, with Anabelle present, Leon didn't feel like debating on the worth of humans or their graces and flaws. Rather, he focused on the matter at hand*
You seem like someone who will have to walk the earth for long...I can help you with your...annoyance and relieve you of the discomfort the sun causes you. Or rather, the sun will "look away" wherever you walk and the sun's rays will be less intense on your skin and eyes. I trust this is enough reward for an easy and simple task, your aid for a few days. That aside, you don't seem to have a specific purpose right now, from the looks of it, you are but a wanderer like me, so it should alleviate you of your boredom, Elias.

"Walk without pain from the sun, might make it easier to blend in." Pausing to think about it for a minute Elias considers the benefits of not having to watch the sun.
"I suppose I could help out, not like I particularly care about anyone I spent time with in the crypt."

Leon
*He nodded*
Good. Should any being start to attack humans, I'll need you to intervene, Elias. Your aid is appreciated. *With Aequitas and now Elias supporting him, perhaps he would be able to intervene, should things take a turn for the worst. He would try to find out why he cared about this town later. He turned to look at Anabelle, speaking in a softer tone*
It might be a lot to take in, all this, Anabelle. Do you want to ask something, anything? *he wondered at what kind of mental state the girl was*
