    Laptops/Tabtops

    Hello RPG,

I've been on a quest to find the right device for school and I've come across the Lenovo Yoga 13. This device is basically a combination of a tablet and a laptop all rolled into one. It runs Windows 8 OS and Lenovo boasts it can go into "4" different modes. At any rate, the design's pretty sleek, and it caught my eye. The combination of a laptop and a tablet seem to be the new model companies are aiming for. I'm sure a lot of different ones are out or are coming out. This one is just one of the few tabtops that caught my eye.

Here's some reviews and specs of the Lenovo Yoga 13:

I, myself am pretty impressed by the Lenovo Yoga 13. I've read that there's also going to be a Lenovo Yoga 11 - The number corresponds to how many inches it is. I'm sure the 11" would be more popular with students because it's a lot cheaper than the Lenovo Yoga 13. I'm sure this is the only one that's currently out right now, so if there's any different ones out there, post them up! Otherwise, what do you guys think about this tabtop?

It looks like a smartphone that swallowed a netbook, I'm sceptical of anything that size and that power realistically having an 8 hour battery life, the size of the keyboard and the fact it comes with Win8 makes me both weep and cringe (creepnge, if you will), the matte-shininess ratios are acceptable and the area around the keyboard looks as if it would feel rather nice, and it's very probably more expensive than everything I own put together and then some.

    THESE ARE MY IMMEDIATE THOUGHTS.

Hmm. I myself had a Lenovo x220 Tablet computer, which was also a laptop/tablet combo. I was very impressed with its performance. So I give Lenovo a

Lenovo makes pretty good products - I own a Lenovo laptop myself. Hasn't failed me yet.

One of the things that's stopping me from purchasing it is the Windows 8 OS. Though, after using it for a bit, I feel Windows 8 OS was designed for tabtop. The other thing I want to see is what people think about it after common use. Everything looks nice and sharp on display, but I wonder what'll happen once it gets to people's homes. I think that's where the real test begins.
