One piece: A new journey

Chris raised a brow. " Pretty much an adaptation of my first plan. But if I decide to get trigger happy? I'm not stranger to pulling the trigger. " He said putting on his mask. He loaded his crossbow and lowered himself into the water. He looked a Kuro, his expression and head was entirely hidden by the mask. The voice was a bit deeper sounding. " Kuro was it? I'm Christopher Aurea Shuzen. So you ready my drinking mate?" He was glad his smile was invisible to everyone, otherwise he'd feel out of place.

"So you are a bastard of a navy commander?"
"Yes, sir"
"And you are a good cook?"
"A damn good cook, sir"
"You're quite confident"

The black haired guy was talking to the man in charge. Not the captain since he was gone with his men for shore leave.

"Tell you what. Stick around for a while. I am not authorized to recruit but I am certain that the captain would be willing to hear you out" The man told the guy, patting him on the shoulder. "Alright officer" The guy said, nodding. THe officer nodded back and went back to his duties. The former bar worker decided to check out the ship, looking around. He was still dressed in his work clothing and he though about those unstylish navy uniforms. He sighed and decided it would be a sacrifice he would be willing to make. He went into the ship after getting cleared and went to the kitchen, his most likely location he would spend most days if he would get accepted.

Ella shot Lex a grateful smile, saying nothing until they had come to a standstill and everybody was just standing around, waiting for the go. She glanced towards the bar apprehensively, hoping that the Captain of The Storm Chaser was getting drunk. She sighed deeply, slapping her cheeks in an effort to stay awake. Stretching both ways, she began to speak, "Alright sir, I'm ready to go when you are," She said enthusiastically, opening her bag in front of her in order to present a pale red elixir to the crew. "This elixir is one of my specialties, my stamina elixir. It'll keep you on guard and alert, and give you an extra boost. Take it if you need it, and just a sip will last the whole night," She explained, uncorking the vial and taking a small sip herself. Remaining neutral at the bitter taste that was inevitable with her limited supplies, she held it out for somebody to take. "I'd say to take it, just in case. It can often be the difference between just outrunning those dogs, or not," She said with a shrug, hoping to get at least a couple people to try her medicine. Most were hesitant at first, but once they had started drinking Ella's elixirs, then it became a kind of essential for any adventurer.

Kuro Grinned Wickedly, nodding at the acceptance of his plan, Moments late hopping into the water near Chriss before coming back up to the top "Lovely, I'll keep the 'try' not to kill them part in mind, But if one gets loose and almost skewer's me I can't make any promises, Survival instinct and all that, But i'll definitely stick to Stun bombs if I need to use one." he floated a little closer to Chris and nodded "And yep, That's me, Pleasure ta meetcha mercenary kitty... I'm ready as ever too, With any luck we'll be emptying one of those barrels tonight." Then a quick glance to the medic lady "Oh, and sorry but I've got enough energy as it is, It'll be hard enough not to Kill someone without 'more' energy in me, hahah." With that he went under first, zipped under-neath the peers and heading for the boat in question, nearing it's backside where he'd wait for Chris to join him before going up.

Chris chuckled suprisingly, it was almost unheard of as he soon swam after him, he was right on his tail - Litterly! With one hand he held on tight, he just sored with him practically. It was fun for Chris, Kuro was like a wonder from beyond the stars to him. He saw him as humorous and bold, the others bored him. But the moment Kuro stoped, Chris almost slammed head first into the side of the ship, to prevent this, he grabbed onto Kuro with a quick scurring movement. Little did he know- He was hugging Kuro. He was imbaresed once everything came into focus.

After a few minutes everyone was in position, Lex was rolling one keg along the ground whilst the considerably taller and stronger Grom was carrying one over his shoulder. "Hold it, not a step further." A gruff voice commanded, stepping down from the ship the navy crew member revealed himself. "What are you doing here? It's a restricted area." Lex smiled and stepped forward. "We come bearing gifts from your captain!" He answered cheerfully "He asked us to bring you these kegs and give you an order to 'assemble everyone on board on the top deck and get totally smashed'." The crew member looked pleased. "Alright, bring the kegs on board. CREW! ON DECK NOW!" He barked, almost instantly scurrying could be heard all about the ship. As the man returned to the deck he turned to the applicant who wanted to take the position of cook. "You're in luck newbie, you get a party on your first day."



Within 15 minutes, 20 of the navy's 'finest' were halfway through a keg off beer. "You sure you *hik* don't want any kiddo?" A rather husky man said to Lex. "I'm good thanks." The boy replied. "Suit yourself." With that the man returned to his conversation. "Ok Grom get ready." Lex took several steps towards the crowd. "Everyone! I have an announcement!" The crew turned almost as one. "I'm taking over this ship!" He hoped the others would recognise this as the signal.

Darkblade had been in the kitchen the entire time, making some food to be like an example for the captain. He heard the festivities on the deck but didn't partake, staying in the kitchen and make some chicken noodle soup, quick and easy. His coat was on a chair and his sleeves were rolled up to his elbows as he cooked.
