[High Casual to Low Advanced]

It's been a while and I'm a bit rusty but I really need to get back into roleplaying. I'm looking for a long term, high casual to low(ish) advanced roleplay. I plan to respond at least twice a day and I will never give you something you can't respond to. I'd rather post via PM but if you ask nice enough I'll consider the boards. I have no limits on anything. I generally only play male seeing as that is my gender and I am most comfortable with it. Likewise, if there is romance involved I'd prefer MxM. I'm sure you can deduce why. If we do any shows/movies/books/etc I prefer using OCs because I do not do canon characters any justice.

I'm not really in the mood for anything in particular so here's a list of some things I like most:
Medieval/Renaissance
Fantasy
Gifted
An assortment of pairings (though I'm actually still craving assassin x target)
I'll do modern/realistic if there is a good plot involved.
Any combination of the above or something else you suggest. I'm open to a lot of things, these are just what came to mind.

I have a bit of an idea of mine that didn't get a lot of press, but either of the above is good too if you'd give me a shot.

Its set in this underground lab, where several 'missing people' have been used as test subjects to create a new race of superhumans. One of the xpierments, namely my character or yours, starts showing signs of being unstable, so they put them in the same cage as another test subject, again either you or me. But, instead of calming down, the two of them decide to form a sort of rebellion against the scientists inside, and begin to work to get all the other expiermented people involved.

Completely open to have other things added to it, but does it sound remotely interesting?
