Daxin stood there and watched as he spoke with his back turned to her. She could hear a bit of emotion in his voice even if he didnt want to show it. She bit her lip as he spoke about his friends. If they were important to him then why act like this?
She held her breathe as he turned and walked into the armory. Her feet couldnt seem to move after him as she contemplated. So this man was once here? They grew up without him? But they were still with him even now when Both Ares and Athena had rushed to help him. They made sure to keep him well and even saved his trophy. Daxin kept her eyes on the etrance as she thought for a moment.

Athena had already moved passed the girl and was in the armory. She could hear her brother and Ajax speak about the mans armour. A smile formed at her lips as they seemed to be having a good time talking about his armor. She stayed quiet and listened as they talked about being more careful. Ajax was the type that cared very little for his wellbeing.

Daxin was finally able to move her feet after what seemed like forever but was only moments after her sister had entered the room. Her eyes started to blink normally and she was able to focus a bit better. What was she going to do? Her thoughts were not quite in place but she had to at least do something. Something that would show that she was not as stupid as he thought. Such an idiot.
Slowly Athena made her way over as the blacksmith hammered away but soon caught sight of drops of some sort of dark liquid just bellow Ajax as he stood. Her eyes narrowed on the floor in worry as she did her best to stiffle a shriek. Her feet stayed planted on the ground in shock and worry but was brought back by the old mans voice. When Ajax sat down Athena jumped up and ran over in just enough time for him to notice he was not well. Quickly she dashed over and grabbed hold of his arm.

Daxin's fists tightened for a moment ready to go fight again with this knumb skull known as Ajax but then they relaxed. What point was there? Daxin didnt like being showed up or treated like a kid and this man was doing such a thing to her. He made her feel so small and brainless that she was at a loss for words. Now what was she going to do? Rush in and fight? For what? She was only mad over how he treated Athena and called her lavished.
It made her feel spoiled and rotton. Those words made her stomache turn uncomfortably. Was she really spoiled? She knew she had a good life but........ugh there was no time to ponder it now. Daxin took a deep breathe and slowly moved her feet towared the door. That was when she heard her sisters voice.

"I told you to stay in bed you goat. Now look at your open flesh is just ready to rip apart" Athena growled in anger. She was already ripping apart the edge of her skirt to bind his wound. This was getting quite annoying having to take care of him like a child. Athena was about to speak again when the sound of stumbling outside the door caught her attention. Her head turned and she caught sight of Daxin rushing over to investigate.

'What happened?" Daxin studdered not sure of herself or why she was even there but it was clear in her eyes that she was concerened.

"Get me some wine from Dionysus" Athena ordered the girl as she stooped down net to Ajax ready to stop the bleeding. "Dont move," she commanded the man.

Ajax shook his head, "Yeah and you wouldn't have it any other way Athena," he chuckled wincing in pain a little from laughing. Athena simply shook her head at Ajax and rolled her eyes, "And i am beginning to think you take advantage of that fact Ajax," she said lightly tapping him on the back of his head. Ajax sighed as Daxon ran past him and he reached out and touched her shoulder, "Hey pup, sorry for being rude. My anger gets the best of me sometimes," he smiled softly. Ajax looked around and raised his hand, water from a glass shook and then floated up gliding over to Ajax. Placing his hand over his wound Ajax closed his eyes and concentrated, the water pooling just between the two surfaces. After a few moments Ajax stood up and stretched, Athena simply scoffed and punched him in his thigh. "When did you learn to use healing magic?" she growled. Ajax laughed, "A few months ago Athena," he said and looked down at the wound. Though it was not completely healed it was a lot better then it was before.

"Hey old man tell me when my stuff is done ok?" Ajax said as he turned his back and went to move out the door. "Ok you stubborn goat, where are you headed off to anyway?" the smith asked. Ajax simply shrugged and turned the corner, leaving his helm and most of his armor there. Ajax walked the halls he ran when he was a child, though he was much bigger now the walls and pillars were still taller then him, but only by a few feet. A few gods passed him and started to whisper, Ajax simply stopped and growled and the scampered off. Moving along he made his way to the dinning hall and sat down, food appeared in front of him as well as ambrosia; food of the gods. Taking a small bite he smiled softly, "Haven't had that in a long long time," he said and moved to scarf down the rest of the food that appeared.

Daxin bit her lip and glanced down at him as he apologised. She knoded and smiled lightly, not sure of what to say. Was this not what she wanted? Truely she wanted not to be treated like a child but he still was.....Pup. Was that all she would be called as time passed?
"I..... it is alright" she breathed lightly trying to smile then watched as he motioned for the water to go to him. When Ajax healed himself it made Daxin feel less worried about the man. Her ears perked up when her sister questioned him about his ability. It seemd the alarm was over now and at seeing the man get up and let Hephesteus know to call him when his armor was ready Daxin wondered what he was planning. Her eyes stayed fixed in him as he moved out of site and into the hallway.

"He will be alright" Atrhena cood at her sister as she slowly stood up. her eyes didnt move from the girl. " Your head must be spinning with emotion," she breathed then lightly placed a hand on Daxin's shoulder before giving it a light squeeze.

Daxin moved her eyes to meet her sisters and did her best to fake a smile but failed. " Your friend is an odd one," her voice cracked as she tried to be sheerful.

Athena couldnt help but laugh. "Go on and sleep. Your bed must be missing you terribly.......I will make sure he does not run off again" she assured her sister and gently pushed her towards the door. After Daxin agreed and was on her way Athena took a deep breathe and glanced over to the blacksmith who was quite surious over the matter.
" Ajax is just the type that can make someone like him and hate him all in one day...." she breathed as she stretched out her neck. " They will get used to putting up with each other at one point. Besides, Daxin loves making new friends." she smiled lightly then started toward the door to find Ajax.
Whe she found him he was sitting in the dinning hall as he ate. Slowly she made her way over behind him and placed her hands on his shoulders. She leaned down to his ear. "You will need to learn how to treat childeren," she breathed in his ear.

Ajax breathed heavily as he felt the hands grip his shoulders, delicate and soft. He instantly knew that they were Athena's hands, he could never and would never forget her touch. Even if she treated him like a child....like a son or little brother now. Closing his eyes he took a deep breath as the days and nights he and Athena spent together rushed through his head like water flowing over a waterfall. Opening them he caught what she had said but only by a second, rolling his eyes he growled softly. "Why? Not like I am going to have any of my own, only women I have loved gave me up remember?" He grabbed a goblet and downed the liquid within in mer seconds. Setting the goblet down he looked over his shoulder at her, his breathing stopped. They were inches apart, close enough to kiss. Athena smelled divine, her scent assaulted his sense of smell like a hound on the trail of a fox.

Turning away quickly he shoved more food in his mouth trying to forget the days of old, he was going to be alone and that is all there was to it. No immortal cared for him the way he wanted to be cared about, they all except Athena and a handful of others looked at him like he cared the plague. Grabbing his goblet once more, now full, he downed it once more. The wine was better sweet, just the right thing to go with the bold taste of the boar he was eating. Grabbing a leg he tore into it like a wolf tearing into a fresh kill. Not turning his head or even looking at Athena he gruffed out three words barely adduabile through his chewing, "Where's the pup?".

This man was a brute and not helping the matter. Athena let out a sigh as he moved back to his eating. She let go of him and stood up straight as she placed both hands on her hips. Slowly she made her way around the table until she was directly facing him.
Her brows arched as she looked down at him. "Weather or not you like treating others with understanding is up to you." she breathed. "But my little sister is always by my side and I adore her more than you adore your wildlife so please treat her tenderly," Athena chimed softly as she folded her arms.
Her eyes moved down to the food spread about then back to him before she loosened her arms and reached out taking a few grapes of the vines. she stood up and popped them into her mouth as she looked down at him and smiled. "If you want a woman to treat you well you must first learn how to treat kids," Athena popped the last one in her mouth then leaned over the table placing one hand down to hold her support.
She took a few grapes again placing one in her mouth then tossing the other aiming for Ajax's nose. Athena grinned then stood up and rubbed her hands together drying the access water. Athena then started towards the doorway but after a few steps she stopped and turned looking at him. "Daxin is suppose to be spending the day with Eros tomorrow. I would be thankful if you tried to get to know her well....You ado want to keep my favor am I correct?" her eyes lingered on him.
The walk to her room was long and boring and it gave Daxin more time to think. She had went from finding a man fascinating to a brute and well...back to being fascinating. It was quite the annoying thing to do. It weighed so much in her brain but she did not want to dwell on it. The day had been tedious enough and she did want a bit of sleep.
Once she got to her bedroom door Daxin reached out a hand and took the handle that was closest before pushing her way inside. For a moment her eyes started to quiver as they tried to adjust to the darkness as she took a deep breath. She breathed in then out and exhaled before a small flame flickered in the room and traveled about leaving a trail of light in its place. In an instant the room was lit up well and Daxin could spot out the luxurious bed that stood in the middle of the room.
The satan drapes that hung around her window seemed the almost dance as the low breeze coming from the open window came seeping in. Daxin smiled softly as her eyes moved towards her bed. At least she would finally get some much needed rest. Her sister was much better at taking care of others then she was so there was no reason to worry about Ajax. Daxin slowely drifted over to the bed before she took hold of her large thick blanket and folded it over.
