Ello folks! I am the typical person from the cold north that is Sweden. I've played a lot of RP's before finding them fun and entertaining since a young age. The RP's that I've played have mostly been in the fantasy setting or a futuristic setting like those found in D&D, 40K and Star Wars. I've played most fantasy races "all" genders, but I prefer to play the Drow from D&D and Dark Elves in general or something that is the opposite from my normal personality.
I am currently engaged in an advanced RP with my RP circle playing a Female Drow Cleric, based on the D&D 3.5 world. I am also writing a story based from my character's perspective currently sitting at 7 pages of background and intermission and 21 pages of story, can link to those who want to read it.

I like RP's that have depth, story and an serious attitude, but can play with some silly/funny comments and actions, just to spice it up, after all, the main point of any RP, is to have fun.
I think I can say for certain, that I am only interested in Advanced RP's since I grew a distaste for short missions and stories and hack-and-slash with my old RP circle.
Anyway, hoping that we all can have fun together!

As someone unaccustom to directing (or even welcoming... or looking at the newbie section of the forum) new arrivals to anything helpful, I'll just say that I'm sure someone will have directed you somewhere before I'm done posting this or will soon hereafter. Luckily, I just happened to take a look at this forum at the right time since you mentioned both Star Wars and Advanced. Heh.

What I'm getting at is that there's an advanced Star Wars RP out there (not with me as a Game Master though) that's already onway but could use some more applicants. IF you're interested, just send a visitor message or... look for the Mandalorian Wars/Revanchism RP in the Advanced OOC section for info and applying and in the IC section to find the actual RP.

Welcome to the Guild, Zhaliora. We are very happy to have you. I hope you find plenty of RP to entertain you, though it looks like you might be off to a good start. I do suggest you read this Guide, it will fill you in on what we do around here just in case our set up is different from what you are used to. @Crayt Due to the fact that it's set in the Mandalorian Wars/Revanchism makes it interesting, I have always been a fan of that era and the KOTOR games, I'll take a look.

@Lillian Throne I'm mostly used to the pen and paper setup or RPG's on the computer. I haven't done much of the "forum post RP" before so I hope that the learning curve won't be too big.

If you like to write (and from your intro I would think you do) the learning curve should be simple. If you look at it as collaborative story telling rather than a system based RP you will be all set. If you poke around and look through some existing RP's you see what is going on. But do let me know if you have any questions or anything. I came here when my table-top group wasn't getting together as often as I desired and I made the transition easily and rather happily.
