It is 2016 in these United States. Barack Obama has just completed his second term in office. He did surprisingly well, actually, turning the economy around as best he could and fixing as many problems as possible. Even die-hard Republicans were impressed. But for others, the next election could still not come soon enough. And you're their saving grace, a fresh, new politician set out to be the next President.

RULES
1. No Godmodding. WHATSOEVER.
2. Be Realistic. Don't swear during your speeches, or make silly ads. Keep it real, guys and girls. You cannot get from DC to LA and back to Wisconsin in half a day.
3. No speed posting. Once you post, wait for two new posts, or 24 hours, before posting again. Your posts may be in the format of a speech or a TV or radio ad. PM me if you think of any more formats you'd like to add.
4. For the sake of simplicity, we're disregarding the system of the electoral college. The poll results at the end of election season ARE FINAL. DON'T B*TCH ABOUT IT.
5. If you are making a candidate, yes, you are allowed to vote for yourself.
6. You may create a CS for another candidate's running mate or campaign manager. But that's it.
7. Original Characters ONLY. I don't want Mitt Romney or Hilary Clinton in this RP.
8. Respect other players.

bio: John was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and grew up sitting in the lap of luxury with his parents money, he quickly realized that those around him in the posh neighborhoods would always waste their money on "quick fix" entertainment, which he thought was the wrong thing to do, especially when he went on a school trip to visit the poorer side of town. he decided after graduating high school that he would help the poor at any cost and set up charities and went into politics to try and lower taxes on the lower class while raising taxes on the rich and try make life as equal as possible no matter the cost...

Bio, Personality (Optional): Diana was born in a middle class family in Oregon, she grew up tutored by a PhD in Political Science. She went to Harvard and got a PhD in Law. She is a very kind and caring person, and will generally help people, believe that you must create equality for all, or we are not one.

Bio, Personality: Josephina grew up in a small town called North River, which is in the state of Washington. As a child, she was a very intelligent kid who was very bright and gave full, challenging thoughts to things. She often did more than she needed to and loved taking tests in school. She was also picked on...a lot, for being a "nerd, geek, school-lover" and didn't have very many friends. Josephina loved to help people and did lots of volunteer-work, and although she sounds like a very great person with a lot of heart, she also does have some faults. Josephina can be very controlling and often takes over the leadership role of any group activities, and even though she means good, sometimes it can turn into just being plain bossy.
