Clara grabbed James' hand as they headed for the door. She was about to mention that she had a vehicle right about the time when the cops that had entered were throwing and... sparks were flying? Sparks?! Really?! Clara began to sprint for the door, much like the other patrons, keeping a tight grip on James'hand and leading him to her car, unlocking the door and quickly telling him to get in. She turned the ignition over with little trouble and pulled out the parking lot, heading towards the general direction of her apartment, looking in her rear view mirror. SHe sighed loudly as she realized no body seemed to be following them. Especially cops. She sunk back into her seat at a red light, looking over at James. "Sorry about that. I haven't had the best experience with cops today. And before you ask, no I'm not on the run." Clara flipped down her visor and checked her face, noting the her dark circles were starting to show. As the light turned green, she reached for her cell phone, noting that it was mostly charged. "So, James. Now that you have me as your personal driver, where is it you are staying?"

Veronika smirked as he passed her the book, it widening into a full fledged grin when he finally succumbed to her request, even asking if she was going to stick around in an almost hopeful tone. "Well, I suppose I could hang out for a while, if you don't mind."She had begun to walk towards the front of the store, but spun on her heel to flash him another smile. She wasn't sure why she was so smiley all of a sudden but she didn't seem to be able to control it. A chill ran up her spine and she rubbed her arms through her coat."Do you have any heat in here or are you just immune to it? Seriously. I feel like I'm in an igloo." She casually walked around the counter to the seat in which he had been sitting before and sat down, crossing her lean legs in a very feminine fashion."A well decorated igloo." she added, not having meant offense to him. Veronika added a wink just for good measure.
