"She's right." Nate noddeed towards Ute as she left. "Anyways you guys stay here and be careful." He nodded goodbye as he moved past the door. He went back not a second later and peered inside. "Oh about the phone. I don't have one on me right now, but we have a bunch of telephones in the building and I'm sure that someone here has a working phone...Anyways I should get going. Good luck you two." He went back inside the dining room.
It was as dark as it was outside. The only light came from the moonlight past the cracked window and the orange light seeping under the door that separated the kitchen and dining room. He glowed his hand and headed to the light switch. "Doesn't work. Great." He tried his best to keep his composure calm and at ease to avoid panicking as he searched the remains of the room. There were some holes, scratches and debris around the room, but nothing stood out. Everything in the room was pretty much the same he remembered it, a large dining table in the middle of the room and a bunch of chairs around it. The only things that were different was that the chandelier has fallen on top of the now broken in half dining table and the chairs were scattered around, probably broken. "The fallen chandelier probably explains why the lights in the room weren't functioning." He examined the remains of the room and went to the lounge.
One again he went to the lights first. The side lamps functioned fine, but the standing lamps and the ceiling did not. "Better than nothing I guess." The lounge was in the same position as that of the rest of the mansion, in disarray and chaotic, but not overly damage. Again there wasn't much he found except for the obviously broken entertainment, decorum and some of the sofa's. "Three usable sofa's better than nothing." Nate didn't even know why he counted the sofa's, but he felt like he needed to. He inspected them lightly one by one and found a dead body behind one. It looked like a guy in his early thirties wearing a uniform.
Nate wasn't scared, but not shocked or surprised. He was just standing there in front of the dead body trying his best not to panic. He grabbed hold of himself and sat in one of the sofa's his hands on his face. He didn't know it, but he was shivering. "Just relax and try not to scream." He tried to calm himself.
Leah din't know how much time had passed, but eventually she stopped crying. Slowly she walked back to the study room at the end of the hall as she wiped the tears off of her eyes. On her way there she found Ute and Ash talking in the hall.
"Oh hey." He smiled lightly. It did not work to her cheer her up. "I guess he told you huh?" She looked at Ash slightly and nodded. It amazed her that he was able to remain calm and composed even after all of this because she was not so lucky.
"Okay, so ummm...what do we do with...." She didn't want to say him or person. "Actually, never mind. What do we do now?" She didn't want to talk about it yet, but she knew that they had to eventually, but not right now.
"This is great. Let's get going" Tobias was taken aback by everything that happened. They'll need to talk about the money issue later thought. "It doesn't say much about what happened here though. Oh never mind at least it's something." It truly was something.
"We should take this though just in case something happens."Quint did not pick up the gun so he did. He pocketed it and made sure the clip was on his other pocket. "Oh and if we are going to leave we should do it in the morning and make sure that we have everything we need." He reminded the other tow just to be sure.
