Once they bid all their goodbyes to the other and wished them their safety Ash and Leah proceeded to quickly and quietly go up to the very top of the tower where the master computer to all the equipment inside the tower could be accessed. At the very top of the tower they just realized that there was no power on. The main power of the tower was on seeing as it was able to connect to the mansion, but the computers, the radio’s and all the devices inside were powerless.
“I guess we will have to turn the generator again after all.”
All it really took was a strong pull at the generators lever, but it was heavy and they were quite tired from going up the tower and then going down and then up once more that by the time they finally had everything up and running they were a bit out of breath.
“You should take a break while I finish setting this up.”
“He should be able to I mean if he was living off the woods then the process should be new to him, but otherwise he’ll be fine, plus there’s a lot of them there so he’ll be taken care off.”
The boys eating habits was not something he worried about, what he worried about was whether or not this person could be trusted. From all the things that he has actually shown he seems to be innocent and na´ve, but that was not enough to convince Nate.
Leading the way was odd for him seeing as he never really led, but it was a nice change of pace. It was also the logical choice seeing as he was the one who knew about where the body was and the one with the ability to light up their way.
Once they were at the lobby it was simply a matter of doing what they needed to do. In this case it involved Nate lighting up the area of the body to make investigating it much clearer and moving the sofa’s out of the way.
“So, what are we looking for?”
Leah followed Ash up the tower without much conversation. She was ready to finish things up so that she could head to bed, but she was hoping that they could contact someone and find aid. She knew that earlier she spoke about wanting to meet up with Magneto, something she was still hoping she could do, but she was worried about just having a group of untrained teens going to see him. It didn’t take long to notice that they needed to turn the generator on, which led them downstairs and climbing back up again. She wasn’t too tired due to the stairs but from their camping trip and everything afterwards added up was quite tiring for Leah and when Ash suggested her to take a break, Leah was a bit relived. “Okay, if you need any help at all please tell me.” Grabbing a chair nearby, Leah sat down as she watched Ash work. She didn’t know too much about electronics and was glad that he seemed to know what he was doing.

The generator was housed in a small outbuilding beside the computer tower, the building held the generator, fuel for it and some various tools used to keep the patch of land surrounding the com tower neat and ordered, like some rakes, a lawn mower and other such things. Getting the generator going however was not difficult as it was kept in good repair and soon light cold be seen in the small windows of th tower itself. The main room of the computer tower had a three computers, a radio, a back up radio, and a locked file cabinet, everything had turned on when Nate and Leah come back up after starting the generator. The file cabinet seamed to hold log books, it was possible that information on how to contact someone from help could be found in the A4 format blue books that could be seen through the glass of the cabinet door.
Ute went with Nate through the mansion, she was a bit concerned about Baird but for now all they where doing was feeding someone who was hungry and needed their help, just like Nate however the young German girl worried whatever or not the stranger could be trusted, that worry would however have to wait until they had dealt with these bodies.
Once they got to the first body Ute knelt down by the man's side, she muttered a quick prayer, the young woman was not really religious herself but perhaps this man had been and it sort of felt like the right thing to do.
"We are looking for anything that can tell us who these guys are and why they attacked us."
Ute said as she begun to empty the man's pockets, not that there was much there. Ute had not problems handling the corpse though it was a bit uneasy knowing that this man had been part of attacking and kidnapping so many of her friends. After her little bout of looting was over the German girl looked down at the small pile before her, a half eaten packet of gums, an spare clip of ammunition and a gun, a flashlight, a pair of strange looking handcuffs and keys for them, the cuffs where metal with glass parts and inside of those glass parts where a blue kind of liquid.
"Hum...these are strange, what do you think they are Nate?"
Ute asked and tapped the cuffs with on thin finger, then she looked at the other items she had found in the man's pockets, army bandages, a pair of sunglasses, a radio, a knife and a bottle with more of the blue liquid and three syringes and a photograph of a pretty woman in her thirties who smiled at the camera. There where no idea, no nothing, just those items.
"Well that did not tell us to much."
Ute said as she finished searching the man's pockets, the young man was dressed in cameo clothes and a black sweater and wore no jewelry save a silver hoop in his left ear and a black leather digital watch on one of his wrists.

He wasn’t a genius, but he was curious and a curious mind always wanted to know more. A curious mind such as his was also fond of mysteries, thrillers, detective stories and police procedural dramas so much so that being near a body for the second and calmer time his head was now filling with thoughts and ideas that could help.
“No idea, but we should keep all these stuff anyway. They could be useful.”
He made organized the things into three piles. One pile was for personal effects, the photo, sunglasses, and the watch which he took off from the man’s wrist. The second pile was for the equipment they found; the pack of gum, flashlight, the gun and the spare clip, the bandages, the radio and the knife. The third was no pile, but he designated it as a pile anyway; the handcuffs, the keys, the syringes and the bottles of blue liquid.
“We don’t have much to tell from these, but we may get lucky with the other body on the second floor.”
He didn’t want to tell her of his thoughts just yet. He wanted to make sure first, plus there were other things he wanted to see for himself. They grabbed all that gathered from him and headed upstairs to the other body.
He was getting virtually nothing from the computers. It was up and it was running, but he had no idea what to do now. The computers functioned like any other computer in the mansion, advanced and well guarded, but because this tower was built before the current mansion was upgraded by both forge and sage its main system was older and less familiar to Ash.
He managed somehow to figure it out after a bit of tinkering which was a good. With a bit of luck he was able to access all the messaged they have received but he was stuck at how to send one or rather what codes to input for the code screen to send a message.
It would have taken him much longer to figure it out, but luckily enough he was not alone. There was Leah sitting on a chair next to what was looked like a log cabinet. A glass door log cabinet covered in thick dust much like the interior of this tower.
“You just saved us some time. Help me search through these books and find the right code that allows us to access the message send screen. It should also hold some info on who to call.”

Ute nodded when Nate said that they should keep the effects found on the dead soldier.
"You are right, all of this could be clues to who these guys are and how to get our friends and teachers back."
The young mutant girl muttered.
"All right, if you pack what we have found together, I will find something to cover the body with."
Ute said as she stood and bushed off her clothes. As Nate packed the various things together Ute checked a nearby cabinet for anything that could be used to cover the dead soldier up, the man was an enemy yes but the young mutant felt it was important to show respect to the dead anyway.
"Be careful with that blue liquid Nate, we have no idea what it is, or what it would do to us if we touch it or anything."
Ute warned as she found a white sheet usually used to cover up furniture when doing some paining, what it was doing in that cabinet Ute did not know, probably someone had just put it there without thinking, but at least now it would come to some use. Ute knelt by the dead soldier's side and closed his eyes with her hand before she covered him with the sheet then she looked at Nate.
"Okey, let us check out the other body."
Ute went with Nate upstairs, this time he knew the way and could lead. This body was of a slightly younger man than the one downstairs and his hair was a little longer. The young German girl begun the same process with this body, she searched the man's pockets and found a a key chain in the shape of a blue car with two keys dangling from it, there where also a clip of ammunition here, a combat knife, a gun, a vial of that blue stuff and several syringes. This man did not have the cuffs though. Other than that this man also had a watch, one with a brown leather strap and an engraving in the back which said.
"To my dear so Harold on the day of his graduation. Love always dad."
Uta got a sad expression in her eyes when she looked at the inscription, it was easy to forget that these men where human beings, with lives, it was just so easy to see them as attackers and nothing else, but this man, Harold, had a father who loved him and then he was suddenly more than just a dead enemy on the floor.
"Who do you think he is Nate? Do you think his father knows that he was weaving a gun around a room full of innocent little girls."
Ute indicated the bright colors on the walls and the toys in the small, empty beds around them, this had been one of the rooms that housed the younger students. Ute sigh as she pulled out a radio from one of the soldier's pockets.
"Okey that seam to be all of it, all he had on him."
Ute said with a sigh.
