IT BEGINS, THE SYMPHONY OF DESTRCUTION
    PART 1

The story will begin an hour or so before the outbreak began. Which means, it'll happens around 1 o'clock in the afternoon. Watch my post which will state the time. Things still going on normal pace before that happens.

The school and college are seperated without wall of fences, the differences are only the size of the building and the campus ground. I leave that to your imagination. Oh and one thing for sure, no one are able to get out from the school/campus ground or risked being shot during the mayhem begins.

1214 HOURS. TRACK AND FIELD. 24/March/2012

    Yawn.
It means i'm getting bored after almost 3 hours of waiting for my next class. It's a rare event to see Ganru-sensei to cancel the class for today. Probably he's a human too. Oh, what the hell am i saying. Good thing it's overcast today, glad that i can cut the useless gap here. Too bad, there aren't much of activity today. It's quiet as hell here. Oh well, i could sleep if i want to now...until the rain comes down that is. The sky does indicates like it's about to cry.

I took my butt off towards more comfortable bench which just a step or two upstairs where i can get more strong wind breeze and won't distract much of the other students attention. I look at my watch, it's almost lunch break for the school stundent...or is it now? I can't remember it well enough since it's almost two years since i left school.

Kentaro shakily navigated the castle dungeon halls, jumping at every small noise. His lantern illuminated the dark hallways, but it did little to ease his shaken mind; the darkness surrounding him seemed thicker compared to his sphere of light. He didn't have to worry long, however; just as he turned the corner, the lantern fizzled out, and Kentaro didn't have a single bottle of oil in his possession. His heart rate quickened as the darkness seemed to close in around him, choking the air out of his lungs. He kept very still, hoping that nothing would find him, especially not...those...

However, his prayers fell upon deaf ears, as he heard the telltale growling come from behind him. He turned around quickly, and standing before him was a--
    ----------------
Kentaro just barely paused the game as he leaned back in his seat. It didn't matter how many times he played Amnesia: The Dark Descent; the Gatherers always scared the living hell out of him. He began laughing at himself, feeling silly for overreacting to a video game, before looking at the clock. His next class was in...five minutes.

"Dammit!" he cried out to no one in particular. He rushed to get his backpack and sped out the door, leaving his desktop on and the game paused.

My afternoon wandering thoughts are disturb by a scream across the field, i stand up from the bench and look upon the ruckus. Well, it doesn't look to well where our college 100m dash ace, Umino Kobayashi, suddenly blacked out. It is a rare scene to see him like that? Flu-much? Probably the same as Ganru-sensei's. And Eric-san and Rika-chan and Onizuka-san and...wait, now that i mention it, much of my classmate didn't come to class at all today too. Coincidence. Yeah, probably just that. The college medical team arrive and took Kobayashi-senpai off the field and to the med. room.

I suppose the fangirls shouldn't exaggerated about that. It gave me a mini heart attack!

As usual, Ritsuko was walking leisurely down the hallway already jam-packed with students rushing off for lunch break, navigating through the crowd with an almost uncanny accuracy; and her attention focused on the book in front of her. Well, half of it, anyway. Often, she had wondered whether it was her subconscious mind or natural instinct that was responsible for her knack for noticing things that probably deserved less attention than it supposedly should - but of course, Ritsuko still noticed them. Like how half her mind had taken note of certain activities going on in the hallway.

Kento had dug his hand ever so stealthily into Miko's bag, pulling out a furry, bright pink pouch. The girl was oblivious to her current predicament, battling her eyelashes at a boy before her. Rena and Tsurora were having a heated argument next to the lockers. Judging from the way Rena's hands were positioned, one could somewhat anticipate it connecting with the other girl's face in about the next moment or so. Trey, the new transfer student, had a smile plastered to his face as he tried to look happy walking behind his new clique, completely ignored.

So on, and so forth. It was interesting how much one could discover just by observing the way people moved, spoke, and carried themselves around. Walking down the hallway was Ritsuko's daily entertainment, as she tried to stop her lips from twitching into a smirk and flipped a page of her book.

"Are you sure you should be walking around with your nose stuck in a book?"

It was Daisuke, his arms wrapped around his girlfriend, Yura. "Hmmm, I don't believe I have ever collided into anything, or anyone, for that matter," Ritsuko mused, a coy smile on her face.

Daisuke laughed while Yura stood awkwardly beside him, trying hard not to meet Ritsuko's gaze. Why the girl was so intimidated by her, Ritsuko could never comprehend.

"Oh, by the way, I heard Setsuya's got a cold. Send her my regards." With that, the boy waved a hand dismissively and left.
Now now, I am not likeaboss. I am the boss.

The mild breeze from the top almost make me fell asleep. It's just so nice to felt it though the weather didn't look so good. At least for other student. Probably i'm just another weirdo who likes rain more than anything else. Suddenly someone called my name, i look towards the incoming voice. It's Ikazawa Daisuke, just one of my classmate. Girl classmate. Nothing more, nothing less. Me and her. She's just another friendly peeps.

    "Good afternoon, Hirate-san."

I just reply back normally like any other people do. We mainly talk about random things because she knows i'm not a talkative one but still, if someone talk to me, i talk to them back. It's rude to be silent eventhough i'm not a social guy. Eventually, we get into hot topic that the majority are talking about. The Bright Night. It did caught my interest because it invlove conspiracies, and i do love to know about it more. True or false, that aside. It happen several nights ago where the clock almost struck midnight here in Japan when most of the East Asia counterpart saw the bright event. Other continent soon to follow after that. Some say it's the failed work of Chinese or North Korean military rocket test but since then, it has not confirmed where or why that thing occured. If you ask me, i believe it's a failed rocket launch. Too bad i missed that event as i was too tired after a hard day at the college.

The walk to class was relatively short, despite Kentaro's initial fear of tardiness. On the way to the class, he passed by the infirmary, where quite a few of his classmates were laying on the cots. A few of them, he knew personally from his upcoming class. From what he could tell, they were sick with some kind of flu. However, something didn't manage to go unnoticed to the red-headed teen: the veins on one classmate's leg looked sickly green, completely visible even in the distance from the open door to the cot.

He wasn't quite sure, but there wasn't any disease he could think of that involved green veins, and if there was, he doubted it would spread so fast.

Kazue sat in the hall between classrooms. She held the beat up acoustic in her hands, running a slender finger along part of the body of the guitar. She felt one of the many nicks and scratches in the instrument.

"You must have had a wonderful history haven't you?" She asked the guitar, not expecting an answer of course. She began to play a slow blues song, "And if you find me in the right time, then you'll ask me," The song slowly continued as she kept playing.

The fact is she didn't hae anywhere to be in class today, the prof was under the weather while her classmates were off doing whatever. It meant she had time to just relax and play.

Take my love, take my land...

"MMmmm Yuudaai" a soft, husky voice purred as the muscular female curled herself affectionately around the pillow in front of her. Short, red hair lay sprawled across a white pillow, each strand vibrant like a burning flame. This student, cooing over her pillow was none other but Yoshimi Mujimoto, the female member of the 4Y.

A snicker rolled out of a male body beside her sleeping figure. Long grey hair pulled into a messy bun, as childish eyes gleamed down at Yoshimi. Unfortunately the peace of Yoshimi's sleep was cut short, with reflexes such as her own, that tiny giggled woke her with a shock. Before any conclusions could have been made about the mysterious person beside her, a boney elbow went slamming for the boy's chest. But with reflexes that exceed the redhead's, the elbow was dodged, letting it slam into the mattress.

Orange eyes, dancing with fatigue and anger stared into the blissful gray void of the mystery man. "Fucking worst roommate on this half of the hemisphere" she growled, pulling her bangs from her face with a smooth stroke of her hand. "Got to stop that, Yuudai" she sighed, watching as lights danced in his eyes as if he were communicating with the girl somehow. "Shit, yeah, I'm late for fucking class..." She grumbled, Yuudai sliding off her bed, scratching his bum through his smiley-face briefs as he slopped over to his side of the room to pull a pair of tan skinny jeans on, riding just bellow his hips, his the eye's of his boxers peeking right out. He was pulled a loose fitting wife beater, an image of the iconic "gloomy bear" printed near the bottom. He turned, glancing at Yoshimi just as she pulled up a pair of black leggings on.

He smiled, her figure had a golden outline, as the sun peeking through the window framed her body. He still remembers when she had been a double A, bitching about how painful the lumps on her chest were. "Funny, now she was a D and couldn't stop fondling them..." He thought wearily, turning away as he begun to pack his bag.

Yoshi continued her dressing, unaware of her roommates wandering eyes. She pulled a white tank top over her chest, grabbing a baggy cameo jacket, fitted for men, and throwing on top. "Ready?" She said, throwing her bag over her shoulder as she grabbed her bamboo kendo sword for her pratice after lunch. Yuudai nodded as he slung his canvas bag over his shoulder.

The two were talking as they strolled through the halls of their dorm. They were talking their time, chatting blissfully between themselves. Well, in reality the scene depicted Yoshimi as a crazy women, talking when her companion stayed silent but at this point, everyone in their dorm was aware of Yuudai's method of communication. An abrupt ringing of a cellphone halted their conversation, just as the pair were about to knock on the door of the other two members of the 4Y's, Yasuo & Yemmon. "Hello?" Yoshimi answer, pressing her sleek, state of the line phone to her ear. "Yem, Yas, we're just about to knock on your door!" "---What, your in the infirm? Why?" "The flu? You've already had your shots dumbass" There was a brief pause in the conversation as Yemmon spoke. "Your probably just hungover, we'll stop by with some coffee" and with that she hung up. The silver hair boy turned to Yoshimi and shrugged. Gesturing with his head in the direction of the communal coffee maker. "Ahahaha, they probably did knowing those two."

    -----------
Yoshi knocked on the infirm door, which was closed for some peculiar reason. Peeking through the small rectangular window she spotted about a dozen students, lying on cots in the crowded infirm. "There are like, 20 kids in there!" She exaggerated, falling forward a tad as a woman with a surgeon's mask pulled open the door. Yuudai smiled as he handed her the two cups of coffee, Yemmon and Yasuo's name written clearly on the face of the mugs.

"Can't come in." Her burly voice ordered, snatching the coffee from Yuudai's hands as she kicked the door shut with a swift nudge from her left foot. Yuudai and Yoshimi both stared at each other, puzzled at what had just happened. Yuudai turned, bending down as he gazed through the window. "They're literally green..." Yuudai mumbled, Yoshimi glancing up, her 5'2 stature impairing her sight into the infirm.
Yuudai glanced down, noticing his friend's difficulties. Taking the tiny hands that clung to the small ledge. She bite her lip, feeling the warmth of his hand against her's as he guided her onto his toes., giving her the two inch height advantage she needed. Her lovey-dovey train hit reality-wall as soon as she spotted what lay behind the thin glass.

"Jesus christ, your right...Fucking A, didn't figure the flu 's could get this bad" she mumbled, carefully stepping off his feet, re-adjusting her jacket as she motioned for Yuudai to follow.

1246 HOURS. TRACK AND FIELD. 24/March/2012

After chit-chatting for minutes, it's time to move on to the next class. With the rain drop already noticed, we got our butt to move on to the next designated class, Advance Photography. Clearly enough my bag are only full with camera equipment for this class and it's really a burden to me. Ikazawa-chan already put all her stuff inside the class as for other of my classmates too. Me? Nah, i rather bring it along myself, anything can happen in this college ground and i want to be there and capture the moment. That's why i'm clearly disappointed by The Bright Night incident. I want to see and capture that moment.

As soon we step into the college hall, we heard an explosion from the outside of the Edo School and College and the cloud of smoke billowing the sky. I guess somebody forgot to turn off the gas. Much for my curiosity, i ran to the rooftop, dragging Ikazawa along with me. Fortunately, there aren't much of the student around, so i can run across the hall with ease compared to the school, located besides the college ground, which is now full with students because of the lunch break.
