The Firm (Private Military RP)

Military RP with a huge difference. You're a contractor, and by any means, that means you're not a soldier serving now. A former one (no ex-African militia soldiers though, so keep it to that kind of ex-army or ex-special forces, something suitable) if you're so, working in a PMC, on contracts that you've been sent to deal with along with the rest of your team. Not what you expect in FPSes, (but this has taken a large intrest from stuff like Arma 2: PMC, as a base for a more tactical standpoint and so on), but expect to shoot back. No CO, no drills, but no help either. Welcome to The Firm. Any interest?

Here's a bit more of a warm up from my character, if you need a bit more info on the direction.

Blue Sword PMC. Well, as I'd like to call it, The Firm. We're Private Military Contractors- we work for contracts, such as rear echelons' base security, support, and other tasks that governments would rather a private force sorted out. Recently, our limits have gone a little further- and right now, we've got one hell of a contract. Fuck me, is this really that basic?

In October, 2013, following an oil explosion at an PB (Petroleum Brasil) oil refinery in Iraq, near the Saudi border, we were asked to support them. Came in roughly round December- which is pretty remarkable, for people like us. We'd work on their Security, and all that. Stop them from destroying their other two, and routing out the problems. Finding the insurgency responsible, and getting them. Practically the entire Coalition force has left- so it's up to us. We're alone in defending this area, and that always makes me paranoid. What can I say. This isn't all roses. Most of you are ex-military yourselves. I'm ex-Paras, for fucks sake. So my advice is, do as I tell you to, and you might be fine. You're not an indestructible army- and neither, are you what you think you are. No. You're simply employed in a job that involves occasionally finding the bad guys, and killing them. You ask no questions about what the fuck you're doing- and remember. Wherever you came from, whatever you're running from, you no longer stand for your country, and whatever routines you had then. You're here as a contractor, and if you fuck up, your money is down the toilet, maybe with your life. You're working not only to make your life better. You're fighting now. "Mark Richardson"

This seems pretty cool. So basically it's a squad based tactical thing? like how would the posting structure go? and the flow of story?

Yeah, I guess it would be a squad-based team. Probably just four or five people assigned to a job, working together. No ranking, none of that- just my character probably is a little more senior, so to speak. Posting would probably be frequent, and a "turn-post" system to make sure everyone's in, as everyone will post to advance it. The story is mostly in Iraq, working around these Oil Refineries and stuff- though expect a few surprises.
