Approved.
Also, I whipped up a quick sample bit for bernadette.
Bernadette smirked at the obviously new Traveler before her. He was so short, didn’t look a day older than thirteen. The aging process hadn’t begun. It would only be a couple of days once it did. She reflected on her first few days as a Traveler. But, the boy’s restatement of the question brought her back.
“Why do you wear that eyepatch?”
She smirked, and then began speaking, saying, “Long before you were born, maybe twenty or thirty years from my perspective ago, a dear friend and I were taking a pleasant walk through Berlin. You see, killing Hitler was an obsession of his. His grandmother had lived through the holocaust, and he had a bit of a personal vendetta. So every month he would treat himself to a trip to another Plan where Hitler was alive. So we’re walking down the street, you see, and we hear this whistle, and we don’t care, you know? Shelling happens all the time. I see a little boy walking down the street and lo and behold as we’re passing him a shell comes whistling towards us. I’m not thinking, so I don’t grab my timepiece. I tackle the boy, and me and the boy survive. Pip dies.”
She looked up, and her green eye was shining with tears. She undid the eyepatch and let it flutter to the floor. There, it exposed an eye with a scarlet iris.
“Back when he was made a Traveler, aging would screw up sometimes. Cause deformities or anomalies. His eyes were scarlet. I used to love those eyes.”
She nodded sadly and continued, “There was no body left. I returned to the Hearth immediately, and I told them, and they were all consoling me, telling me it wasn’t my fault. But I knew. And I changed this eye’s color to remember him by.”
The boy stared, wide-eyed.
“Never ask me again.”

Name: Alyss Treaty.
Gender: Female
Appearance: She has an amused face. It’s not overly smug, just an entertained one. As if everything is funny. She has a humorous personality, often making witty remarks about serious situations. Alyss has light blue eyes that are usually lined with mascara and eyeliner. Her hair is long and wild, just like its red color. She usually wears leather, as it is flexible and form fitting. She keeps her body toned and in shape, due to the amount of exercise being a Traveler requires. She is not overly tall; standing at the normal height of 5’5. She wears a simple throwing knife strapped to her thigh and a gun holster rests comfortably on her waist. A long, black tattoo resides on her lower neck, just barely covered by her shirt. No one has ever seen what the mark is, because she rarely associates with other Travelers, and when she does their conversations are brief and to the point.
Philosophy: She lives her life to the fullest, with no regrets for all the gruesome things she’s been forced to do in the past. She chooses to be hated for what she is, opposed to being loved for what she is not; in the words of Andre Gide.
Mental State: The state of her mind is somewhat debatable. While she has a high IQ, she sometimes acts as if she has no sense, making random statements and observations, whereas other times she is serious and rather grim. When she converses with people aside from other Traveler’s, she holds herself with intelligence and a sense of superiority.
Timepiece: Her timepiece is an 18th century pocket watch that she keeps on a silver chain around her neck. On the cover of the watch is a winding snake, curved in the shape of the infinity symbol. To move through time, she simply has to open the watch and set the date with the hands; the hour hand being the year, the minute hand being the month, and the second hand being the day. To stop travel, she merely needs to shut the watch, and she will appear in whatever time she was currently traveling through.
