In a mystical world reminiscent to the one portrayed by J.K Rowling, a magic boarding school awaits its students for the new year. Note, however, that though there are many similarities, the events of this rp take place in a different kind of universe.

As a new student, at the age of 17, you are enrolled in one of the most prestigious magical institutes of the northern hemisphere. A whole new world lays waiting at your feet, with a castle ready to be explored, magic to be learned and new friends to be made. But, beware...
Like all things magic, the castle has its secrets. Just over a year ago, a young wizard went dark and attacked a fellow student, using advanced, illegal spells against her. When the scandal was aired, it shocked the wizarding world, and left a well-known family's name ruined. With high concerns of a dark magic brewing within the school, Parliament opened a full-fledged investigation into the school. With little coming to light the first year, the investigation is still on-going, and officials can be seen roaming the halls, watching students for any iffy behavior.
But a group of curious first-years are about to discover everything they've heard may not be true, and Parliament may have something they are hiding...
