Talasana was born a bastard in the slums on the planet of Coruscant, to loving mother, who was a dancer for one of the planets seedier clubs. Most of her life, she worked. The jobs she would receive were maintenance in nature, from cleaning to repairs, but the pay was always meager. At the age of sixteen, her mother died from disease, leaving her to fend for her younger sister, Latala, who had only been born a year prior. Realizing that her usual odd jobs could not support her and her infant sister, she turned to petty theft and burglary, unwilling to accept pay for men to ogle her body, like her mother had done before her.
It had taken only three months before she was caught. Not by law enforcement, or any of the common rift-raft, but a human agent of the Senate Bureau of Intelligence, a Mr. David Rol. In his confrontation with the twi'lek, Talasana had made quite the impression on him with her "spunk" as he had called it, and made a deal with her; in exchange for her crime, she would work with him as his protégé to become an agent for the Senate. Talasana couldn't refuse his offer, it offered security and food for both her and her sister.
After two years in serving under Agent Rol, The young twi'lek completed her first mission alone, granting her a celebration from her proud mentor, who had since transferred over to the military as a high ranking officer. It was small a affair, between only her and the rest of the Rol family, where she had been presented with a blaster that David had picked up during his time on Naboo. The wife was a pleasant enough woman, reminding Talasana of her own mother's kindness. Then there was the son, Jonathan, he was a military man before his father had even transferred, and at the age of twenty-three, was incredibly chivalrous. Talasana had taken a shine to him, and he had done the same; they started dating only months after they had met.
Her life continued on like a dream for another two years. Talasana and Latala, who in her own right had been growing up a sweetheart, had practically been adopted in to David's family, her relationship with Jon had become rock solid, and she had gotten good enough at her job to be able to impress her superiors. That was before the Imperial rise though, and to be honest, that did not change much in her life. The entirety of the Rol family had changed their allegiance to the Empire, as to avoid any conflict. Talasana was even able to keep her job as an intelligence agent, despite the dirtier nature of it now, and even after the racial segregation thanks to her connections within the higher echelons.
Eight years after the Rise, Jon had attracted the attention of the Inquisition. According to them, he had been spreading rebel sentiment, as well as using his military position to supply the Rebellion with critical information. He had been tortured to death by the sith apprentice questioning him, refusing to reveal any information besides his family's lack of involvement. This imbued Talasana with an irrational resentment for all of those in touch with the Force, as well as differing political opinions to both the Empire and Rebellion. She dreamed of an Empire free of those so easily swayed by the "light side" and "dark side" and benevolent to it's people.
Talasana had been able to keep her radical ideals to herself for two years. It was after a particularly gruesome mission that had left a trail of bodies in their wake, that she had confided in someone. It was her partner, who she had been working with for the past year and a half. He squealed to Command as soon as they had landed. She was faced with execution for her radical ideals and was only spared by the words of David, who had to personally give up his lofty position as a military commander and it's pension to show the sincerity of his word to the Empire. As proof of her own loyalty to the Empire, she was forced to take on the lowly and boring job of a requisitions officer for the military; a large demotion in her eyes. She was reassigned often, and everywhere she was sent, she was treated with disdain, and given the eye of suspicion. With her new position, she saw little of her sister, now a proper lady, and the rest of the Rol family, but tries to keep in contact as much as possible.
It has been twelve years since her reassignment, and she has recently been reassigned to Exaron, taking inventory and supplying the grunts with their weaponry. She has become somber and almost uncaring to the world unfortunately with her age and pass tragedies.
