    If I were to do one (In the future)
    I would follow the central line of SMT
    Kinda putting an in-apocalypse or post apocalyptic context that represent one of teh many battles between Law and Chaos
    Players would be forced to chose an initial alignment (the one can change at the course of the RP), And an initial demon (I would add demon's restrictions according to Alignment. Kinda a Chaos cannot use an Archangel for example).
    Of course it would be more story centered. But for that I need to develop a good plot.
    The other problem is that I'm already weaving an RPG, and have several ideas for the next ones. So I don't know what I'll pull first.

    Once it would have been a miracle.

    that would count me out since i never played any of the SMT save for nocturne, and my friend just lent me that one for a day so i didn't get very far

    the problem with awesome roleplays is they attract awesome players, and the problem with having awesome players is they usually fuck up in awesome ways, and require awesome explanations to correct their awesome mistakes.

    Mmm you could get Strange Journey for the DS. Although it's not precisely part of the mainline, It follows the classical pattern.

    Do you have what is required to emulate PSX (Play Station 1)
    You could play the Persona 1-2 or Soul Hacker series at least. xD

    the original 2 SMT games are rather easy. You almost don't even have to have played them in order to do this. Download an SNES Emulator and find SMT and SMT2, with english patches of course. Because I think the SNES versions are japanese
