    The Dimensional Chronicles

The sun was high in the sky, a cloaked figure was walking through the massive desert city of Finite quietly, speaking to no one. He reached a small house and let himself in. Once inside he slowly pulled back his hood and smiled. Rylan looked around his small house fondly before he turned to look at the desk, dropping the bag he had over his shoulder to the ground. With a sigh the boy moved to the desk and sat down in a chair by it. He hoped Christabel wasn't mad that he hadn’t come to visit her or let her know that he was even back.

The boy had been away for nearly a week now out in the ruins beyond the city, which meant he hadn’t seen his childhood friend for seven days. He hoped she didn't get mad he wasn't going to visit her. As it was he may even get back out of the city before she even realised he was here. He was only in town for a few hours. He needed to get a change of clothes and resupply. It wasn't that her was purposely trying to avoid her. He wasn't, it was just that he was getting really close to a big discovery.

He could feel it. He had already uncovered a very odd chamber deep within the ruins, he just had to figure out what its purpose was and maybe the secret of the temple.

The tremendously large doors shut behind the petite girl as she stepped out. Boredom was consuming everything she did. It was tedious how many things she did. Nothing seemed to grab her attention though. Her dark grey eyes scanned the room for something to occupy her time.

It wasn't as if she was ungrateful to anyone. But the constant tasks she was given every day were tiring sometimes. Her interests were elsewhere for her time to be spent. After so many years of the same things day to day it became too easy to finish them quickly. Where was Rylan to be found at this time? Sure, he was busy but still. Christabel had not seen him in quite a bit and his company would be much appreciated at this time.

After some time of wandering through the castle Christabel finally decided she would be the one to visit him. Besides the fact she was bored out of her mind, she was also extremely curious to see his new 'discovery' she had heard about from others. So with her mind set she began her trip to the ruins.
