Digimon: Outbreak RP

This idea has been brewing in my head for a fair while now. Finding Digimon to have been an interesting concept what with the fact that you have monsters running around within various multiverses existing digitally. Seeing as there's so many variations of the Digital World, I've settled on one in particular. Players can start out as a human (tamer-to-be, meaning that they'll be thrown into the network and into the Digital World or they could already have been in the past), a sentient Digimon, or a feral Digimon.

Most feral Digimon have been infected with a virus that has rendered them completely and utterly bestial in instinct. This means that they'll be much more dangerous than average. However the one's that will be playable will still have retained some of their original intelligence, they're just much more prejudiced towards humans.

The humans, upon their first entry to the Digital World, will have had to survive for up to a week before they'd be able to return back to the real world. Of course, upon their immediate arrival to the Digital World they'd find that they're not alone. The world, in a sense, would have scanned them and produced a Digimon suitable for them.

I was considering this idea to have a lot more of a realistic take on Digimon, meaning that the monsters themselves would seem a little more animal, reptilian, etc in nature and appearance. Most of them would still be able to talk, however. Also, viruses are more likely to crop up, causing illnesses in the Digimon among other things.

All types of Digimon will be made available, such as the X-antibody Digimon and the dark equivalents of the original species.

If anyone has any suggestions I'm open to them. So, anyone interested?

I know in some digimon series you could fuse with your digimon. In your RP would this still be possible, if so would the virus effect it ?

I'd join if I have the time, but what section will it be in? Also, would it be possible to make a "synthetic", man-made Digimon? Just askin'.

Those are some good questions. Yep, fusion with certain kinds of Digimon will still be possible, and if the fusion is with an infected Digimon, then the virus will definitely effect how it works.
