Star Wars is cool and all but it's not like sacred to me.
Or any of the simultaneous side plots.
Or perhaps the past? Old Republic, Obi-Wan as an apprentice, the story of Darth Maul, etc. etc.
Perhaps even during the times of the movies. Follow that series of books about one of the Jedi who survived Order 66, and then had numerous adventures and shenanigans.

No, I'm fucking sick of the past. lol
Up til recently I felt the franchise was dead since all they do is milk the clone wars period. But now we can see post-war shit and maybe even future generations.
The future generations are pretty cool.
In the middle of a series that while it still has Luke and the gang, they're older, so you could realistically recast them as, you know, proper actors.
But anyway, it focuses a lot on their kids. Like Luke's kids? Jacen, Ben, etc? They are pretty damn fantastic.
Especially Jacen.
