Appearance: A serpentine hollow who slithers along.

Division/Espada Lord/Affiliation: Serves the Espada as a whole, but his primary loyalty is to the Cero Espada due to her protective nature to her underlings, working as an informant due to his lack of military strength.

Personality: Mahi is cunning, pragmatic and curious, thus his use as an informant due to his nature of snooping about and sniffing out information, frequently observing others rather then hunt them for food, for his curiosity about others is unending, despite his serpentine form, Mahi is not very much like a snake in his mannerisms, he is not menacing, particularly shifty seeming, cold or indifferent.

This however, does not change the fact that Mahi regards anyone but an Arrancar(whom he regards as the pinnacle of hollow life) as food to be potentially eaten, not even other hollows are safe from his voracious appetite.


Fighting Style: Mahi is extremely cautious and regards every fight with deadly seriousness, all too often Mahi refuses to fight altogether with anything that is not weaker then himself, fleeing back to Hueco Muendo at the first sign of a Shinigami, for he desires greatly to reach Arrancar status, but in order to do that, he must be careful and grow in strength, without risking his life unnecessarily.

It is through this pragmatic way of viewing things that Mahi has successfully evaded Shinigami for all 27 years of his lifespan as a hollow, where other hollow might risk a confrontation, he simply foregoes his mealtime for that day and avoids a fight, for he has observed that all too often Shinigami can be much stronger then they appear, and it is simply to better to err on the side of caution and assume they are stronger then he is.

Otherwise Mahi is fairly aggressive, he will observe his target over a span of several days, analyzing for strengths and weaknesses, and then striking with lightning fast speed, much like a viper does, preferring to disable his target with paralytic toxins that remove their ability to fight back(thus his name).

He absolutely despises Quincy, understanding that when they kill a hollow, it is not death, it is oblivion, for the soul is destroyed, if Mahi sees a chance to destroy a Quincy, he will take it, but will otherwise avoid confrontation at all costs.

Special Techniques

Electric Green Death: Mahi carries within his fangs, and his saliva, many poisons he can deploy against his foes, venoms to corrode, toxins to debilitate, but his favored poison is the venom he is named for, a paralytic sting that causes his foes lungs to tighten and muscles to stiffen.

Unseen Threat: Learning to cloak himself in a field of reishi that masks him from the visible spectrum, as well as damping his own reiatsu to avoid detection.

Acidity of Touch: His bite delivers a concentrated dose of his paralysis venom, enabling easy feeding.

I haven't found the Cero in any of the CS's, but firstly

The Primera has a personality that means Mahi can feel secure around her, she's not as likely to just kill him off as any other Espada

Also I don't LIKE the Cero espada bullshit, that felt like such an asspull on Tite's part it wasn't even funny

But the Cero could get information out of him too if he asked, Mahi's not dumb enough to refuse, it's just he has his loyalty primarily to the Primera
