    Yuuki Aki, Mine Entrance

"Wait, before anyone goes in, we have to beware of hostile Pokemon. Considering this is a mine Rock and Ground types will reside here. Now, if we were to go in it should be Me, Chikorita, Axew, Joltik, Shinx, Torchic and Mienfoo. That way the Pokemon that have weak moves against Rock and Ground Types can stay in the middle and not get hurt." Yuuki explained cooly. Yuuki looked at the dark mine, watching the smoke come out of it.

He just hoped he some water moves on him. If not he would be screwed. Yuuki cautiously flew into the mine, making sure any Pokemon that came out would be safe. "Okay, are we ready?" He asked the other Pokemon.

    September, the Mine

I waited patiently as everyone arrived at the mine. Seems like despite some of our strange personalities, we're still Pokemon- I mean people, that want to help. I tilted my head as Stephanie spoke. She actually remembers that much about her past? Then again, so did I. "I feel good with my new body," I said, continuing what she said. "We can do so much more as Pokemon as we can as people." I then looked at my feet. Chikorita don't usually have claws like this, do they? How bizarre. My leaf fell into my face, and I flipped it out of my eyes. Stephanie began to step into the mine, and I followed. It's too bad that my new body doesn't seem to enjoy the darkness, as I do...

A new Pokemon, that didn't seem to be with us from the start, also hovered next to us. A Staryu, and he seemed like he wanted to take the role of our leader. Good thing I was on that list.

"Okay, are we ready?" The Staryu asked.

    Raphael Rapid, Hospital Door

Raphael watched them go, blind to the danger they were putting themselves in. The Mienfoo, Chikorita, Torchic, Staryu, even the Axew, who had claimed to be the only one left with any common sense (Ha! The irony, the irony, thought the newly-made Joltik), had all rushed to follow the Shinx towards the rocky hill, which he could vaguely see smoking. He wondered how badly they would screw up. Sure enough, Pokemon had a few skills that Humans didn't, but they were still Human even if their bodies had changed, and they still had yet to learn how to use them. Although the violent spark Raphael had given off and that weird fury the Axew had shown did seem to be instinctive... And the Mienfoo had an air of experience from somewhere.

Still, despite the amazing risk, Rapid still felt a strong urge to go after them. Not to help out the trapped Pokemon- They were miners; They almost certainly knew more about the danger than the Pokemon going to help them, and had probably prepared a plan in case something like this happened. But the mite Pokemon didn't feel right doing something alone. He could remember no details, but he knew somehow that breaking away from a group was strongly against his nature. He was a lively spirit, and a rash one. Seeking the defense of numbers was what he unconsciously felt he should do, despite every ounce of logic he had telling him otherwise, and something new, something connected to his new body, advising the greatest caution. Shaking his head twitchily, he said to the few remaining Pokemon, "Guys, screw it. I'm pretty sure their rescue is going to end in disaster, but their the only connection we have in this world right now. At least we might, eh, bond through ordeal or somethin'." Then he was gone.

    Raphael Rapid, Mount Opal

Raphael found that his limbs were surprisingly adept at scaling the mountain, bounding and springing and twitching in a blur over the uneven ground. Another benefit of being a cave Pokemon. The Staryu was much faster than him and he just about matched the Mienfoo and Torchic, but he outsped the Shinx, Chikorita and Axew without too much effort. They had quite a lead on him, though. When he reached the mine entrance at last, he felt an odd sensation of... Homecoming. This was the kind of place Joltik thrived in. "Ok you idiots, I'm here," he said as he caught up to the group, which was standing around barely any depth into the mine. So much for heroics. "Just to recap, though, this is a ridiculously stupid idea and I'm just following you because I don't want to be seperated from the only ones who're in the same situation as I am."

    Victor: The mines
"...Well this is fantanstic." Victor groaned in his head. The pokemon he was with were all beginning to go off into the mines. Despite his and the Joltik's warnings, they were set to go. He wasn't included on the list of pokemon to be upfront to explore, which he considered a good thing but a bit of an ego killer. He didn't understand why he felt somewhat insulted about not being one of the pokemon to lead. He knew he didn't want to be one of the leaders but something was irking him bad and he didn't know why. Victor was almost about to just plain not go until the Joltik said "but their the only connection we have in this world right now." The Joltik was right about that, so if Victor wanted to solve his mystery, he didn't have much of a choice except go further. "I'll hang back and follow closely. I'll probably find a few items on the way." He said, rubbing his face with his paws.
    .......
Victor took his time, exploring the surroundings near the main group. He didn't find any wild pokemon or any items, minus the strangely colored jelly bean thing. He didn't pay attention to what color it was as he just pulled it out of a wedge in two rocks, put it under the bandana on his head and quickly returned to following the main group. He sniffed around, hoping to find something, either the miners or more items. He caught himself when he realized he was sniffing to search for something. It was weird to do so, but he felt that he should do it.

    Cody; The Hospital Reception

Everything seemed to happen at once. First, Raphael attempted to flirt with the ladies in the room. Next, an Axew smirked and mocked the pair of them, which Cody shrugged in response to. Well, it was better than them not being there at all, right? Third, the very same miniature dragon exploded in a fit of rage, fire literally building up in his throat. However, as the tension of the room seemed like it was about to explode into a full-blown fight, a tremor hit. At first, Cody thought it'd been one of the others in the room, but he doubted - if they were all the same as him - that they'd be able to pull it off. Besides, it'd been powerful enough to send him slipping sideways across the floor.

As soon as he had recovered, the Shinx that had been stood close to the Axew, suddenly raced off. He pushed open the double-doors to the hospital and raced outside. The last Cody saw of him; he was standing still looking about him, then up. Everyone else burst into action, others warily approaching the doors, whilst a couple remained hesitant and hovering inside of the large, white hall.

Cody decided to follow after the Shinx. He padded cautiously to the door and (to his surprise) opened it with ease. His mouth fell open in shock at what he saw outside. This was - catastrophic! What had happened? It was like an explosion had hit! He closed his mouth and shook his head, catching the trilling words of the group of Taillow that flapped above the heads of himself and the other gathering Pokémon. He heard the murmuring of the worried creatures and his ears tilted back. For the moment, this disaster was of more importance than his surroundings. He glanced to the Shinx as he exclaimed his bravery. He charged off shortly afterwards. Cody sighed and took a few more steps forward. Should he help too? Some of the others seemed to have the same idea, or at least raced after the electric-type with anxiety on their faces.

Well, might as well join them. There's nothing else I can do... He tagged along behind them, his scarf billowing out at his side as he gathered speed.

It took him a short while, thanks to his increased speed, before he stood next to the Shinx looking down the dark tunnel. Everyone that had followed began to voice their different opinions and Cody thought it best to voice his own. "I'll help," he said. "It's better than sitting around feeling sorry for myself." Besides, lives were in danger, whether they were human or not.

Mt. Opal Mine Entrance: Rinji Sonomoa (Shinx)

Rinji turned around hearing footsteps and voices and it turns out he wasn’t the only one that followed him. Someone asked for his name, “My name is Rinji, Rinji Sonoma but please call me Rinji. It’s nice to meet all of you.” He said politely. He was a little intimidated by the sheer size of the group but he smiled and turned back towards the entrance knowing that time is of the essence. He muttered to himself “I don’t know what I’d do if I let someone die from my inaction.” Rinji was against putting others at risk but there wasn’t anything he could do. “Let’s go!” he shouted to everyone and rushed inside. The entrance was lit up with lanterns along the edges and a slope soon lead downwards toward the start of the dungeon.

    Opal Mines B1

The group soon comes upon a fork in the road. Some is coming out of both passages and it’s took dark to see what’s inside each of them. Rinji decided to rush to the left path and as soon as he did he realized that he shouldn’t separate himself from the group. As he tried to head back to everyone his face bushed into something hard. Jumping back and rubbing his nose with his paw he gazed at what he just hit. “What the? Did I just hit the air?” He placed his paw in front of him and it seemed there was some invisible wall forcing him to take the path he has chosen. “Damn it, everyone split up and take a different path!” he grunted as he continued into the passage.

Opal Mines B1 Path A- Puzzle Room

Something was off about this room. It could be the fact that the smoke was getting a bit thicker or it could be the fact that there are about five metal pipes sticking out of the grounds acting as ventilation. After seeing a room like this one wouldn’t think this was a cave at all. The exit seemed to be firmly locked by a large steel door. A half-broken but still functional monitor was blinking next to the steel door, “Please fix pipe ventilation to open door.” It seems that one or more of the pipes is broken and perhaps Pokémon moves can get them working again. The shinx begins to look around the room and wondering if anyone else followed him. He shouted to anyone who followed him, “Look around the pipes! They should help open the exit!”

Opal Mines B1 Path B- Battle Room

There was some faulty electric wiring causing sparks along the ceiling of the cave furthering the belief that humans once were working inside the caves. This room was rather empty except for a couple of Pokémon. A large Graveler and two Koffing were blocking the way further inside. It seems that they wouldn’t let anyone pass by mere words alone. “No one is allowed to pass! Leave!” shouted the large Graveler. Anyone who entered this room feels the tension in the air as a fight begins.

Yuuki Aki, Opals Mine B1 Path A

Yuuki watched as Rinji rush off. "Jonto! Matte! I mean... Wait! You can't go by yourself!" Yuuki chased after the careless shinx, by floating as fast as he could. He was pretty fast that's for sure as he made to him in no time. "W-what are you thinking!? Your gonna get yourself hurt! N-not like I care..." Yuuki said in a tsundere like way. He tried going back but was blocked by an invisble force.

"Damn... Sorry guys! We're gonna have to split up!" Yuuki called out to the others as he continued floating. He looked around the off mining room. "Fix the pipes? Hm... If they're sticking out of the ground... Something has to be clogging it up! I bet these are ventilation pipes that got broken during the explosion! They were probably clogged up by debris and rock!" Yuuki told Rinji. He looked down the pipe, it was pretty dark.

    September

I was following behind Rinji before the fork appeared. Rinji decided to take the left path, but I felt like I could sense Pokemon in the right path. "What the?" The Shinx had attempted to leave the left path, but seemed to be blocked by something. I looked over to the right. "I'll take the right path. Stephanie..." I looked at the Meinfoo. "Are you coming?"

I ran down the tunnel, feeling at home with the dirt, but not with the smoke. It's hard to breath down here. Or photosynthesize. Chikorita do that, right? I can't remember... My ribbon was flying flapping wildly behind me, which was a strangely familiar sensation. Did I used to run a lot? I shook my head out of my thoughts and kept running until I hit a room. It was a large room, with sparks flying here and there, making it seem rather dangerous. In the middle of the room stood a Graveler, with a Koffing standing (hovering?) on either side of it. “No one is allowed to pass! Leave!” shouted the Rock Pokemon. "Why can't we go through?" I argued, stepping forwards, "there are Pokemon in trouble." These Pokemon seemed so aggressive.

I could feel something welling up inside my throat. It was... Almost reflexive. I opened my mouth and growled as loudly as I could, sending out invisible waves of energy. I think I just used Growl... Which lowers Attack... The three Pokemon did seem to want to beat me up slightly less. Am I going to have to fight?

    Stephanie, Battle Room

Stephanie nervously followed behind September. She felt a little more reassured with a familiar face beside her. "Yea...I'm with you. Just promise you're not gonna leave me in the dark..." She felt her eyes had adjusted to the dark, giving her a sense of her surroundings. However, she felt her old anxiety starting to creep into her. Her joints slowed down, her legs felt like lead. "No, not now..." She knew she had to go on, there were people who needed her.

Following September, she noticed the pokemon blocking the path. Two koffing and a graveller, great. She noticed September began to growl at those stopping their path. At that point, Stephanie felt her anxiety slip away, like the chains holding her in place just broke. There was nothing else, no worries, no anxiety, just combat. She grinned as her stance changed, "Allright you three, you got a choice. Let us through, or we make you let us..." She could feel her muscles clenched, her body seemed more alert then ever, she felt her attacks were going to hit even harder now.

"Wait, I know this? I just meditated, didn't I? Oh now we're gonna have some fun..."

Take my love, take my land...

    Cody, Battle Room

The Shinx called Rinji had ran ahead, resulting in him and one or two others, being stuck in a separate place. He had called back for them to find another route, and Cody had shrugged and turned away. Another room loomed up before him as he ran. Standing guard were a trio of tough looking 'mon. One of them shouted out about how they couldn't pass or something similar. Cody frowned. It was around the same time as a Chikorita replied that he realized he wasn't alone. Others had joined him; looking for a different path for which to meet up with the others. In a way, he was relieved that he wouldn't be going through this alone. Although, he had no clue who any of them were. They were just strangers to him. As the Chikorita Growled, Cody felt his eyes narrow in a Leer. "If you won't move aside; we'll make you."

To be honest, he had no clue where that came from, but if these idiots weren't going to shift, he'd do it for them. Although, he had no idea how he was going to fight in this body. He'd ran around the hospital room before to get a hang of walking about on four legs but, would it really help him out here? Well, there was only one way to find out. Besides, this day couldn't get any stranger. What with everything that had happened so far.
