    Cody, Battle Room

The Meinfoo that had headed into the room a little before Cody, suddenly took the brunt of a acidic attack from one of the foe Koffings. She collapsed shortly afterwards and, seeing its chance, the Graveller marched up to her prone form. However, as she struggled to rise, the hot-headed Axew charge towards the larger Pokémon unleashing yet another blast of flames at it. He quickly dragged Stephanie to safety. Cody was quick to run over to them, a hint of worry in his eyes as he saw Ron totter. However, before he could ask if the pair of them were alright, their enemies launched into an all-out attack.

First, came a vicious Magnitude, that shook the ground into such a state that it forced Cody to crouch, his eyes automatically closing in response to the assault. The second Koffing followed up with a Smokescreen that forced the world around the group to dark. The Zorua gritted his teeth. This was getting nasty. He could still feel the build up of the ominous force running through his limbs, but due to the abrupt incoming murky cloud, he couldn't see his targets. "It's a shame no one in here knows something like Whirlwind," he said aloud.

Yuuki simply nodded as he looked floated to the pipe. He looked at the pipe, it was covered in this hard substance. Yuuki brushed his point over it lightly. It felt like a rock, if it was one it would be pretty strong. "Hmm... It feels like a rock..." Yuuki thought aloud. Perhaps he could push it down with a water attack?

I might as well give it a try! Yuuki thought to himself. He really hoped he had water attacks now. He moved back a bit, he tried to get something out of his top point. Suddenly a gush of water came out of his top point and it went straight for the substance. Perhaps this would push the it down.

    September, Battle Room

I felt really calm. That was a thing with me, I never panicked or anything. It annoyed the crap out of most people. But anyways, Hunnigan seemed to lighten up when I drew my whips. "Alright!" he exclaimed, "that's the spirit. Let's show ol' Rock Brain and his pals what for, eh?" This guy.... All of a sudden, he seemed more likable.

Somewhere behind me, I could feel a dark energy forming. Must be that Zoroa, I thought, turning around. "I think the best way forward, is to attack all at once," he said logically. Before I could nod, I noticed a big clump of... Was that poison? I crouched, ready to spring away. But Stephanie had decided to jump in front of me. "Yame!" I yelled, reaching out to pull her back. She was too quick though, and was squarely hit by the poison. She didn't stop there, and kept going to attack the Koffing. She fell to the ground, and Hunnigan ran up to help her. He fired a Dragon Rage attack, which seemed to wipe him out.

The Zorua ran in front of them, and I followed suit. "Darnit Stephanie..." I growled, looking back at her, I can protect myself, you know?" I faced the three enemy Pokemon again, standing my ground against their attacks. "It's a shame no one in here knows something like Whirlwind," said the Zorua. That would help, I thought. What attack should I use? Nothing will help if I can't see.

My leaf twitched. 10 o'clock! I sprinted to where my instinct led me, and Tackled a Koffing head-on. He opened up his mouth and let loose another glob of poison. "Yaro!" I dodged it swiftly and whacked him with both my vines, sending him back into the smoke. I glanced over my shoulder again, making sure I could see Stephanie and Hunnington. "Zoroa," I said, unsure if he could hear me, you're a Pokemon now. Use your other senses to fight, not just your eyes."

    Yame: Stop
    Yaro: Bastard

Ron stared at the enemy Pokemon before them, challenging them still. Then came the attacks. First a magnitude ripped across the room, sending Ron on his back. He struggled to stand up, and the next thing he knew he was blinded. He slowly made his way out of the Smokescreen to see the Chikorita Tackle a Koffing. He then saw the close dodge by the Chikorita before it spoke to the Zorua. Ron turned toward September. "Nice Tackle..." he said weakly, as he swayed back and forth, only managing to stay on his feet out of sheer willpower alone.

Before Ron could react, the other Koffing launched itself out of the smokescreen that was slowly dying away, and Tackled him head on.

Ron flew back from the attack, hitting the wall. He then got up, his face contorted in rage. "How many times do I have to say it, no one messes with Ron Hunnigan and gets away with it!" he roared. He then rushed at the Koffing and smacked it (Assurance). The attack seemed stronger then if he had not been attacked.

Meanwhile, the other Graveler was making its way toward where Stephanie lay. This time, neither Ron or September would be able to help her, as the two Koffing blocked them. The Graveler took it's time ambling over, grinning almost as if it knew it's victim were helpless. "I thought I told you runts no one was allowed to pass!" it said. "You didn't listen, now face the consequences!" it said, before launching itself at Stephanie in a Tackle Attack. Meanwhile, the Koffing's both decided to try to Tackle Ron, as he was still weak from the Dragon Rages and the attack he had taken.

The Chikorita from before launched herself into the smoke. Cody could hear it as she collided with one of the trio of enemies, then she spoke; her words directed at him. His head lowered a little and he nodded shortly after. She was right. He wasn't human anymore... Thinking as such wouldn't get him anywhere. Things were quickly escalating now. Ron had attacked one of the Koffing, but was blocked off by the both of them in the process. The Meinfoo was being charged at by the Graveler, and the Chikorita was in a similar predicament now as the Axew. Cody gritted his teeth. The Smokescreen may have faded enough for him to see the outlines of the enemies, but what if he missed? He shook his head; now was not the time to dwell on things like that!

The Zorua snarled and launched himself at the Graveler, colliding with his head in the same instant he launched into a Tackle. Slivers of dark energy rolled off of Cody's body as he made contact with the Pokémon. [Pursuit]

I could hear sounds of battling all around me, though I couldn't see anything. I kept my head low and quickly jogged over to where Stephanie lay, only to be blocked by two Koffing. "I thought I told you runts no one was allowed to pass!" grinned the Graveler, walking over slowly, almost teasingly. "You didn't listen, now face the consequences!" He leaped towards Stephanie, only to be intercepted the the Zoroa. Yokatta, I thought, running up to my friend. "Stay where you are!" bellowed the two Koffing, Tackling me from both sides. "Aaarrg!" I was crushed in between them, unable to move. "Let..." I wrapped my vines around the Koffing, trying to pull them off me. "Me..." I could feel my leaf starting to twitch again. "GO!" I swished my leaf, and a dozen razor-sharp leaves shot out and knocked the two Koffing back. "Haa!" I tightened my vines around the two and flung them back into the smoke. I didn't hear them crash, so chances were they would come back. Whatever! I had to protect Stephanie, and Hunnigan too, but I was bruised and battered from the last attack. I managed to get to Stephanie's side, and I hovered my vine-spears above her. Just you guys try to attack...

    Yokatta: Thank goodness

Stephanie coughed, her body was wracked by pain. She knew the sludge slowed her down, she barely felt the Axew drag her out of harms way. The earthquake left her stunned, but she seemed to be able to balance herself to avoid being damaged heavily by the rumble. Was it her body? She seemed to remember flashes of a girl training against magnitude by balancing her weight to anticipate each rumble. Who was she?

    "Get up!"

Stephanie winced as she got to her feet. The room was covered in a dense black smoke, leaving her sight heavily impaired. Didn't matter much, she closed her eyes as she listened for each movement, each rumble. The Graveller was close! Stephanie launched herself towards the sound, something inside her called out when this fight began. The images of the girl who trained tirelessly with many different fighting pokemon. Maybe she knew her? There were glimmers of this girl, she never gave in, she never backed down.

    Neither will she!

The Graveller swung a massive stone towards Stephanie, she barely dodged the blow as she brought her fists to the Graveller's face. He roared as he attempted to retaliate, Stephanie moved away again. She felt her body was fluid, never stopping, like water.

Why did she know how to move like that?

She charged the Graveller again. Her fists seemed to connect much harder with each attack. The pokemon bellowed as he tried to stomp Stephanie, she slipped away again. Landing a series of attacks against his back, she felt herself slow down. "No, I am not losing here!" She launched herself at the Graveller, she clung to his back. She landed another attack before getting tossed off. -Doubleslap- The Graveller looked like he was running out of steam as he readied for another attack.

She grinned as she stood beside September. "Sorry, I thought I was faster then the Koffing. Plus that goop doesn't agree with fur, I'd hate to see how your leave would fare. Now, let's send this jerk for a ride!"

Take my love, take my land...
