As the boy finally opened his eyes to look at the angel, Nicholas became enthralled with the firery shine in those bright green irises. This creature truely was as much of a find as the shopkeeper had spoken of.The angel's mind focused on the mere looks of his new pet, he hadn't reacted much to the threat that had been followed by his hands being slapped away by the smaller male. The shopkeeper however, pulled out a tasing rod and jabbed it into the cage furiously,"'Ow dare a dir'y beast li' y'self lay 'ands on such a valu'ble customa'!Ya' mangy brat!"Just as the pudgy demon had moved to flick the switch on the rod, Nicholas grabbed the neck of it and getly pulled it away,"That's quite alright, shopkeeper, but I'd prefer to discipline my pets in my own way.Rather than beat them senseless on the first day, I prefer to take my time when teaching them manners. Now, if you would be so kind, please retrieve my chauffer from down the block and tell him to bring the car around, would you?"The demon stood there for a brief second to absorb all that had been said before nodding and waddling off to do as he'd been instructed. The angel then turned his gaze back to the child, well, compared to him this creature was a child.Nicholas smirked cassually as he stared straight into the boy's florescent gaze,"Well, now that you should ask, yes, I do quite like what I see.Though I'm sure you've been through the most horrid of tortures, your form has barely a scar and your face is quite beautiful.Perhaps now I understand why God has such an eye for you mortals. You can be so beautiful, yet so foolish and easy to push around.Even God has his slaves I suppose."Ignoring the threat from earlier, the male reached his hand to the shifter's delicately crafted chin and took a gentle hold on it as his eyes began to slightly glow a dull red color."How simply decidant you look right now.It makes me ever so hungry and parches me in just the same manner.Perhaps I should just eat you here and now rather than later.Of course, I'd be without a pet then, wouldn't I," he spoke softly, almost as if he were sincerely debating the thought. He then smiled kindly while the once red glow in his eyes faded back to simple grey.Slowly Nicholas pulled his hand away, being sure to let his finger tips linger a bit longer on the male's warm flesh before he completely pulled away.
As the shop keeper entered once more, this time with a tall masked male behind him, he went to a counter and pulled a black leather leash out from behind the counter and waddled back to the cage. After sifting through his mountainous amount of keys, the round demon unlocked the cage and quickly hooked the leash to the collar around Ken's neck, one just like all the other shifters had on that kept them from shifting into their enourmous beast forms and running amock. The demon then handed the other end of the leash to Nicholas and bowed slightly before moving back to go tidy things around the store. The tall masked man moved to the angel's side and leaned down to whisper something inaudible to the enraptured male, though what he had to say caught the fallen's attention as he nodded, no longer grinning now.He gave a gentle tug to the leash to signal his new prize to follow as he began to walk towards the front of the store, though figured the child might develope ideas of mischeif and signals his chauffer once more with a nod.The masked man then walked over to Ken and simply picked him up to carry him out, after all, they had absolutely no time to waste here, not when there was a special guest waiting at the large estate Nicholas owned. As the angel took a seat in the car, his chauffer gently placed the shifter inside also before shutting the locked car door and moving to the driver's seat and driving away.
Nicholas then turned his attention back to his pet and grinned once more as he placed a hand to the male's cheek,"Now my dear Ken, we are on our way to your new home.I have only two simple rules for you to follow, one: My word is law, and two: Do not try to escape.Bother are for your benefit, so I will not bother making threats.I am a very patient creature, but once my patience has been worn, I fear only the worst awaits the reciever. Now, I do hope we can get along at least in a semi-civilized manner."He then removed his hand as the car pulled to a stop and his door was held by his loyal chauffer.Nicholas stepped out of the car, giving another gentle tug to the leash in his hand before walking into his castle-like house.
