Liana sits in her office, scribbling hurriedly when suddenly the door bursts open and a few scouts along with three of the lieutenants rush in. She looks up,"What is it? What is wrong." She moves to Cadrock who steps up wearily, "Miss..it's Everhars..he.."
She stands up, fear running through her body,"He's what? Out with it!" Cadrock speaks silently,"He's dead, General." Liana freezes, her expression sinking as the world turns suddenly cold, she speaks in a stoic voice cutting her emotions off,"Where is he?" Barstol spoke up in a easy manner, but even his eyes had fear hidden behind him,"He's in the lab. Evidence was collected, plus a message was left."
Liana without a word moved out of the room, heading down to the lab with her entourage behind her. She suddenly entered the room, with the stench of blood and a white sheet filling her senses. She moves closer as Trayvear moves to the other side of the sheet and pulls it back to show Everhars broken and belittled body. Liana watched in horror at the remains of her dear friend. She then glanced at the words that haunted her to the core. She spoke evenly, hiding the agonized pain from her men,"Where did you find him?" Cadrock spoke up,"The docks." Liana froze a shiver running through her,"Get out."
Barstol chirped in, "Liana we need to make a..." Liana turned and in a vicious tone she looked at him with sinister eyes,"Get out." He turns huffily walking out the door as she turns around,"All of you!" They left one by one, and finally when the door shut she fell to her knees, a scream flowing through her lips, as tears burst through. She sobbed the tears running through her scarred and dirty fingers,"WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE YOU! YOU ARE THE ONLY HERE, WHO HAD FAITH IN ME AND LOOK WHERE I LED YOU.." She gulps, as she places her hand on the table holding his hand tightly,"I should have saved you! I SHOULD HAVE PROTECTED YOU." She smashes her fist into the concrete, over and over until blood appeared. "I swear before my time is done. I will kill you..Alitre. I will make sure, you suffer for this. Hell is what you deserve and one day, I will send you there." The tears flowed faster now as she sunk over wallowing in the misery of a lost soul, a lost hope, and above all a lost friend.
