Yes, I'll need that info really - because I'll be NPC-ing again, my avian nation in the continent. (Was supposed to be a surprise, but well people discovered the Avian city faster than I had hoped...Such ballsy moves Tatsua! Aiming for a City straightaway hehehe)

And my Avian nation has a Queen ._.

Right, if there's anything you need to ask, just pop it into the thread. I'll be back in a few.

Culture - Historic Figures rough draft

    Notable Historic Figures
Listed in order from oldest to most recent

Thialog the Proliferator AKA Thialog the Mighty

Thialog is considered to be the greatest Banar’ri to be born in the era of the fall. Many a tale and song is told and sung by the Banar’ri, exalting his exploits and adventures. It was said that his strength was so great, that he could crush men with his bare hands, and throw large stones over lengthy distances. Though his greatest claim to fame is the large number of wives he was said to have. Supposedly his enchanting musk was so powerful that women miles around would flock to him and throw themselves at his feet. Thialog reportedly had over five hundred wives, and an even greater number of mistresses. The validity of this claim is uncertain, but to this day, “son of Thialog” is the most common surname among the Banar’ri. It is said that Thialog met his end at the hands of a ravenous horde of goats, who trampled him, and flung his body from the highest mountain peak.

Trigon son of Dagoba AKA Trigon the Terrible AKA Trigon the Mad AKA Trigon the Betrayer

Easily the most infamous and recognizable historic figure of Banar’ri heritage among non Banar’ri, Trigon son of Dagoba is both revered and hated by the his people. In the years in which the Clifford civilization was at its peak, Trigon led a coalition of Banar’ri, Orcs, Goblins, and Dark elves against them and their allies. Never before had such a large number of Banar’ri clans been unified under a single leader, never before had a Banar’ri been directly involved in a major event. Trigon did not share the mindset of his brethren, rather than lamenting in tragedy described in the Origin tale, Trigon reveled in it, believing Demogoron’s curse to be a blessing. Trigon worshiped Demogoron, and gathered together the coalition for no other reason than to recreate the carnage and destruction Demogoron was said to have wrought in days past. For years Trigon’s armies hounded the Clifford’s and their allies, each city that fell to him was sacked without mercy. As the war progressed so to did his cruelty grow. He built for himself a personal guard made up entirely of enthralled Clifford women whom he referred fondly as his “beloved Furies.”. He indoctrinated and trained them to be ruthless and demonic warriors. He took great pleasure in pitting them against their Clifford brethren. As more and more victories were achieved, the deeper Trigon’s insanity grew. One day, after a major victory in which several high ranking leaders were captured, Trigon arranged to meet with all his top subordinates with the prisoners present. With all of them present, Trigon consumed an entire bowl of goat’s milk, and began to convulse and babble as if possessed by a demon. As his display reached a climax, five of Trigon’s most beloved furies appeared. Taking up ritualistic positions and gestures, they each began to cut and slice into Trigon’s body as he stood there cackling maniacally, until nothing remained but ribbons of flesh and his severed head. His subordinates could only look on in shock at the macabre display. The lead Fury, Trigon’s principle wife lifted his bloody head from the floor. Though his head had been severed he was still able to utter one final word, the name of the ancient evil whose name must not be uttered. With this utterance the rest of the Furies appeared and slaughtered everyone there save for two individuals, a Clifford general, and a Banar’ri chieftain. The furies then gathered up all of Trigon’s sons and departed. It is said that the descendants of Trigon will one day change the nature of Banar’ri society. To this day the surname “son of Trigon” is perceived with both aversion and respect.

Pazuzu son of Azael AKA Pazuzu the Beautiful

Pazuzu was obsessed with the fabled lost civilization of the Banar’ri and devoted his life to finding a way to revive it. He believed that the only way this could be achieved was if the prophecy of a son born to the most beautiful Avian was fulfilled. Thus he devoted his life to artistic pursuits, and eventually became a master sculptor and stone worker. Few could mold and shape stone at the level he could. His statues were supremely realistic, as if at any second they could spring to life and move about. He created many master pieces, choosing to create statues of famous historical figures of the various races Though he tried with all his might, as the years past he began to feel like the task of finding and seducing the most beautiful Avian to be truly impossible. He became bitter, and this bitterness was reflected in his work. He began to create countless sculptors of goats, and of Trigon the Mad. His final and arguably greatest masterpiece was a sculpture of Demogoron, which he worked on , without rest and without food. He died a mere moments after its completion.

Bael son of Trigon AKA Trigon the Wise

The most recent figure of note among the Banar’ri, Bael is famous for building the first permanent Banar’ri settlement in the age of the fall, Balmora. Under his rule, Shinning moon clan became a society unlike any other of Banar’ri origin on the continent. It was the closest any clan had come to true civilization. Unfortunately, Bael and Balmora met an untimely end at the hands of a joint Human Orc force, who destroyed the settlement and scattered its citizens across the continent. Though if any of Bael’s sons still live, there is a chance that the scattered clansmen can be reunited, and the clan restored to its former glory.

Those are some crazy folk tales with Trigon, son of Dagoba.
It'd be hilarious to see a Clifflord historian arguing against Banar'ri historian, since both of them rely on oral tradition and superstitions about their past (despite the Clifflords also drawing pretty pictures of their history on metal slabs, though it is up to the viewer what they mean).

I love how all the older figures have goats appearing in them near the end of their lives, and the most recent is less "folk tale" and more realistic.

    Indeed it would be .

I love how all the older figures have goats appearing in them near the end of their lives,
The other races..they cannot see..or rather they choose not to see. But the Banar'ri..they know the truth...the truth of the dark abyss of evil contained within those deep, square pupils.

and the most recent is less "folk tale" and more realistic.
The most recent two tales are more or less based on events that actually happened. Pazuzu actually lived, his sculptures are out there, (most likely in the possesion of some Avian nobles). And the story of Bael is basically part of my general's Biography, as the destruction of Balmora is a critical event in his life. The consequences of this event form the basis of most of his goals and motivations.

I am willing to be a Sovereign if you need me to be. The human sovereign, in fact, calls to me.

    Then make a Sovereign!
But, be warned, of Hero of the Seven Shiny Seas, that you will start a large battle between all the Sovereigns for which they shall compete to gain orangebox's attention. Though, if you make one well enough, orangebox might be nice enough to let you be a Sovereign along with everyone else. Might.

It all depends on the General to Sovereign ratio, from my experience with Organgebox's plans. There can be any number of Sovereigns above three, as long as the ratio is 2:1.

    - - - Updated - - -

So in order for there to be 4 sovs, there must exist 8 generals.
