No.

There isn't a lack of females, but females also make up most of the slave class. This isn't as much about gender inequality, but because slavery is the easy route out and women are naturally more desirable as slaves. Slaves aren't treated cruelly and there are laws protecting slaves from abuse, but they still have basically no rank.
I will ponder this train of thought.
Let me try and clarify what I mean.
A polygamous nation has 100 people. 50 women, 50 men.
10 of the men take 5 wives each. There are now 10 husbands and 50 brides. All of the brides are taken, but there are 40 men left over.
Most real world polygamous (or summary polygamous) nations make up for the lack of available brides by importing foreign ones. For example, over 80% of the United Arab Emirates' population consists of non-citizens, either imported as brides or as labourers. I don't think you'd be able to convince me or Raptor to have you import half of our women, though.
Not sure if you meant to use "your" or "you're"?
I got a question. What generates income in the game? Settlements create food and resources, what else does? Do general's generate their own resource income, or do they take a percentage of the settlement's?
Settlements are the only way to generate your own income naturally. A Sovereign may allow a General to become the duke/lord of a single settlement, which allows the General to obtain the income of the settlement for his own use with the Sovereign gaining a slight bonus. You can also gain Res and Food from trading with other nations or independent settlements. A general may be able to obtain his own income, without the help of a Sovereign, by having a Special Trait that allows it. For example, a true mercenary General may be able to gain Res from defeating units, and a bandit General can extort from any cities they are currently in. A merchant General may also generate a small but steady flow of income by simply being inside a city.
In general, the Sovereigns worry about getting the resources and using it, while the Generals focus on winning the battles. A General's only use for Res is to upgrade and pay maintenance for the company of soldiers he is commanding or for individual use (For example, training, Morale support, buying his own company, etc.) and cannot really use the Res for anything to do with a nation itself, so a General does not need a lot of Res or Food.
On the other hand, the Sovereigns use the Res and Food for diplomacy, the national army, upgrading settlements, and many other things that are beyond a General's authority.
I see...how are the prices set for upgrading a company,or for training, Morale support, buying companies and so on? I know maintenance is set at a specific price mentioned earlier in this threada.
