it like 'dries up' but like it attracts together leaving 'cracks' or what they are supposed to look like. You are supposed to paint a color beneath them first though......

No, I haven't. What is it?

Fill a bowl up with water, then put a drop of nail polish from however many colors you want. Then take a toothpick and drag out the design you want. Then, dunk your finger in, pull it out, rip off the excess polish, and ta-da!!! (Wear tape so it doesn't get all over your finger).

I like crackle. You can even get slightly different effects with it. Instead of putting it on the whole nail, you can go in different directions or dot it on.

In Britain nails are for hammering. We use them for construction. Painting them prior to hammering sounds fabulous. You should name them too. Steve the Nail.
