went to a musical tonight

and holy SHIT it was good, guys. Srsly. It was Sweeney Todd (nowhere near the Tim Burton version of it, this was definitely truer to the broadway version).

Had spraying blood and meat grinding and everything, though. Brilliant acting and singing.

Unfortunately the guy who sat in the audience next to me was fucking annoying and may have well ruined the show for me. Dick couldn't stop clacking his teeth in time with the songs and cracking his knuckles incessantly and looking over at me and being all jittery in general. I almost asked Sweeney if I could borrow one of his razors for a moment.


Anyway, long story short, ST is fucking boss.

No? The Tim Burton film is a good enough place to start, except I really did not like Helena Bonham Carter as the leading lady. Her voice didn't cut it and she was far too mild.
