Soft words, gentle touches, people muttering around him as he sat there, somewhat at ease amidst the people around him. Even though his mind was clouded, the world was spinning and whatnot, he still felt amazing. Peter was still standing near him, he could hear his words, although he didn’t really understand them. It was all just gibberish in his ears, no matter what he let out.
“Nhh, Petey, get me some mo-.” He let out, with his eyes closed, grinning as he leaned back, sitting on the cold ground. Then, suddenly, a touch. A touch that caused his hazed eyes to gaze up towards the creator of the feeling.
Admiring, that’s how he gazed upon the face lingering above his, with a smile that broadened. Even though he didn’t really recognize her in the beginning, he enjoyed it all too greatly. Those long locks, dark brown, mysterious, with a lighter tone underneath, in which he wanted to trail his numb fingers. A small laugh escaped him, as he gazed into those pale, blue orbs, so close to being lifeless grey. They were brewing though, like a storm rising in the distance, he felt like a vessel on the wild ocean, being tossed around by those beautiful orbs, they didn’t show care for his fare.
Her voice boomed in his ears compared to the noises around him, it took him a little moment to realize what she had said to him. What she called him, that even in his situation, he wasn’t getting a different treatment. So what did he have to lose in front of her? His dignity? Well that was long lost anyways.
“I’m awake lovely...” James muttered, his tongue twisting weirdly in his alcohol riddled mouth, it still burned in his throat. Were it not for the drugs and booze, he would’ve never chosen such a word to address his only opposition in this place.
Was she his opposition? Like he cared about such things right now, she was here, again... Although she had left, she had gotten her earnings. Why would she be back in this rotten place? With all these people just laying around doing jack-shit? Why would she be standing here in front of him? The only question he truly could answer was that she was actually standing there, as he slowly lifted his hand up to hers, clenching his fingers around her thin ones.
His free arm rubbed over his chin, whipping away the blood that still lingered around there. A mess, a giant mess that’s what he was. However he would never see that, in his mind, he could just do about anything, be anything. James smirked up, with his green orbs, hazed with the cocaine from before, gazing into hers. He wouldn’t get a chance like this all that often anymore, so why wouldn’t he try... Taking it?
“Are you here on business, or are you here for a good time?” The brunette let out, a little bit more clear this time, as he pushed himself up with his trembling legs. His fingers still clenched around hers, as his other hand reached out for her inked hips. What did he have to lose in this situation? It was always the same when they just talked to each other, they’d be like snakes spitting venom at each other, like two roosters just trying to maul each other.
Yet he was too dazed to do such a thing, to put up a fight, he just wanted to let himself get swept away in the colours and feelings that lingered around her presence in front of him. Like most people here were doing, he just wanted to let go and enjoy himself. He had never seen her, he had never seen Kat enjoy herself either.
“Fuck you, for leaving me and Viv like that... I had almost expected you to be completely gone already...” He let out with a raw voice, he felt hungry, something was clawing at his throat. A feeling he couldn’t really describe.
A small hiccup left him.
