Still focused on the vampire in front of her Icebrand shifted the backsword a little and took a few steps sideways. She then witnessed the woman that had cried earlier shapeshift and leave. Isn't there anything normal in this world anymore? The young lad, who was apparently a mage's apprentice, looked suprised. Brigit was surprised they had their opponents confused, but figured if this vampire could be trusted. Those creatures came in all shapes and sizes as did regular humans, but because of their powers they tended to walk over to the darker side of life easily. Still weighing her option, leaving and continuing to her previous destination or staying here and finding out what the hell was going on. Carefully looking at the vampire the woman in armor lowered her blade. The apprentice began to speak, he thanked her. Guess there’s a first time for everything… He also thanked the vampire, There really is a first time for everyting, and introduced himself.
Sheeting her sword she saw the vampire coughing up some blood, "All is not as it seems. Though I can see you are all like me." He said. The vampire had already healed himself, must’ve been though took take him down then. Maybe we even got lucky. The vampire had spoken in a way that reminded her of the damned tax collector, has to be some kind of royal too. But what he said was strange… “Icebrand,” Brigit stated, “What do you mean we are like you? I’m nothing like a creature like you. Explain.” Brigit had the feeling the pale skinned man knew more than he was willing to tell her or the young mage. She didn't like being kept in the dark, that could cost you your head. What did the vampire know?
