Passionate or apathetic, there is no middle ground for Heinous. Yet despite this, he's perhaps the most unbiased and objective person you'll ever come in contact with. Steady and enduring, he loves to study the arts and more often or not expresses himself through them. His ability to adapt and shift from social to social group with ease and assimilate makes him almost a direct reflection of the machine which he pilots. His perfect image isn't very perfect however as he tends to have outbursts for no apparent reason. During this time, he becomes extreme narrow minded, extremely physical, and extremely emotional. Somewhat burdened, his artwork reflects his internal suffering and along with that suffering a hidden joy. Often clutches his heart when around people of importance or significance.

Standing before Lunar Academy, Heinous smiled. It seemed everything worked out in the end. Things of course weren't as they are now.
The story begins in a correctional facility in Shanghai, China.
Business headquarters as the was several decades ago, money, like urine, came naturally and with ease to the prosperous city. Long having cleaned it's streets, the old cement that had once laced the streets was torn asunder by the calm and measured growth of wild grass and shrubs. Trees scale the buildings as tall glass buildings loom overhead in the sky, almost as if flying pillars too rich for the ground that had once supported it. People were happy, naturally, that there was fresh air and wealth all about. The only sickness in Shanghai was perhaps hangovers, and the only crime was most definitely not having century old wine or exotic fruit juice in your glass every meal of the day. Beneath all this, deep underground was a place where the poor crawled over one another, eating what they could, and perhaps each other at times. Criminals acted as authority in this underground dystopia, and rape, pillage, and disease was almost as natural as breathing. Between the utopia above ground and the dystopia underground rested something that resembled heaven's gate, a testing cooperation reaching its hand out to dying masses below, offering them the hopes to one day walk in daylight again. Rook, the company's name held a double meaning. It was the rank required to be achieved in the training program to be set free from the dark abysses of the under realm. Ranks were granted by means of luck in the beginning, the lowest rank was a King, and the highest was a Queen, with Rook and Bishop tying for second highest, Pawns right behind them. In order to advance, real time combat must be preformed in enclosed chambers, nothing but conventional armaments and weighed chasis's that offered the protection of that of a light chasis but weighed the same as that of a heavy chasis.
Heinous applied and recieved an interview like everyone else that applied.
When asked how badly he wanted to escape the living hell he was in, he was dumb founded.
"Your trivial civilized mind would have no comprehension about the cruelty of nature and mankind," he spat offensively in Chinese, before finishing off in broken English "Do you know what type of shit I had to swallow to stay alive down here? Not even bleach can erase the taste from my mouth now! Eating your shit would be like endulging myself in steak, at least your shit wasn't the result of digesting someone elses shit!"
With that, his fate was sealed. He lost both arms and legs throughout the course of his career, his eyes gouged out of it's sockets, and his breath leaving him for hours at a time. Through the course of it all, he had achieved his Rook rank and was allowed to graduate from the depths of hell back to civilization. Yet as he took the first deep breath of clean filtered air -despite nearly choking under tears of happiness- he was no longer the wild unruley boy that stepped into the Rook facility. Years after his release with way too much free time on his hands as he continued his less demanding testing career, Heinous had grown reflective and mournful. Civilization's judging eyes had dulled the primitive senses that had once coursed through him, what was once his virtues were now branded to be sins, and thus his character changed almost all together. No longer snarky, rude, and judgmental he had become a more understanding creature. When offered a chance to display the greatness of the Rook sub-company, Heinous was happy to comply. Yet rather than attempting to demonstrates his value to the son of the Roman family as he was told to do, he seeks to craft a piloting career free of all the flaws that had been imprinted into his very fiber of being.

His hands and legs are all mechanical, without them he'd be a quadrapeligic. While they seemed to be realistically human, synthetic and not warm to the touch, nor do they feel any sort of pain.
