The Wisdoms: Truth is eternal

Charisma is a world where people possess unnatural abilities not by right of birth, or diligent study. No. Nature is a sturdy and resistant force. If you wish to move nature, to defy the laws of the world, you had better be able to make them move. Incredible personalities in Charisma have enough power to move the laws of physics themselves. A world where magic is based on the force of your personality. The Passions of this world are the most powerful people each generation will ever see: they appear quickly, the grand scheme of things, make massive impacts, gain incredible power, and die early. Emotion based, passions bend the world to their whims, accomplishing great tasks in their short lives. Their counterparts are the Wisdoms. People who develop great philosophy, and reflect on the nature of the world before attempting to bend it. Their power comes from understanding, instead of emotion. Where Passions tend to be the types to die young after great accomplishments, Wisdoms accomplish far more much slower over their extended lives.
There has always been a rumor. The personalities of the Passions, the intellect of the Wisdoms, both are so great, that anyone who hears the advice of all of an age's Passions or Wisdoms cannot help but gain a stronger personality or better understanding of the world. You, for whatever reason, desire that. You want the ability to use magic where you lack it now. So, you are preparing for a journey: to go and meet each of them and understand what grants one true power in this world.
The question is, will you choose to be ruled by Passion, or by Wisdom?
The overarching idea is a 'journey' type of story; this focuses more on the getting there than the goal itself. I am willing to do this with more than one person, but if the demand grows too large, I will move it to an actual thread. PM if you have questions or are interested.
