Weakness

He has everything that he ever wanted. His mind is a computer, able to recall any needed information in a second. He’s strong as well as good looking – girls desperately wanting to be called his girlfriend. And above all, his family owns an influential corporation, making him filthy rich as well as the future company’s president. His dull life is soon interrupted though, by a girl who’s different than the rest.

She has been forced to work and struggle for everything in life. She has spent hours among books, soaking in the information so that her parents would be proud of her. She’s spent days at the gym trying to get stronger so that her older brothers wouldn’t have to worry about her. Lastly, any money she possesses has come from her part-time job. She isn’t the prettiest girl on the block, but then again that’s one thing that she doesn’t strive to be. Glasses and messy hair are all right with her, for only passing school really matters at the moment.

By all logic, they should have never met. But his morning had been busy and he was late for a meeting with his father concerning the family business, so his chauffer was driving a bit faster than usual. It was at that moment that an orange carelessly toppled from her grocery bag, landing in the street. Being someone rather smart, she does look both ways before obtaining her food. However, his car turned the corner at the exact same time. Stepping out of the car, he approaches her in order to make sure that she’s all right so that he might make it up to her – that way he won’t tarnish his reputation.

However, their personalities instantly clash. It is only a short encounter, but it’s one that they won’t ever forget. After parting with unkind words, they believe they will not meet each other again. How wrong they are. Because there’s something that they never counted on, the fact that their fathers were high school buddies. The next evening they meet at a party hosted by his father. And thus their strange relationship begins. She’s determined to find his weakness and expose it to those that believe that he’s a perfect God. He’s determined to show her how pathetic and weak she really is.

The more time you spend with someone, the more time there is for love to develop and grow.

Okay! Here's the lovely OOC. My first thought was that we could start working on character sheets if you prefer to use them. Also my second thought was that we need to do a little bit a planning of what will happen after the party. Yes, I stat that they will spend time together - but I don't have a specific idea in mind as it allows me to use this plot more than once leaving it open as to what keeps them interacting after the party. If you don't have any ideas, I do have a few that I could share but they are pretty typical and might need some spice to make them exciting - if that makes sense. ^^

As I'm currently not at a computer I'll post my CS when I'm back at my computer - which will be a few hours.

Well I don't mind where we begin. Starting at the party would be nice and probably smoothest beginning but if you wish to start at the accident that's fine with me.

As to what will follow the party I have a few scenerios. 1 - She is given an oppurtunity to work with or for him. 2 - He has to give up his luxurious lifestyle and live with her in order to succeed his father. 3 - Their parents are plotters and send them both off on vacation together.

Name: Melody Rae Smith // Mel

Age: 22

Biography: Melody never knew the lap of luxury. Her father, Arthur, had long since decided that as long as he had his small bakery and his family he would not ask for more. Therefore, Mel spent a lot of her time in the kitchen of the bakery learning from her parents how to make the best breads and desserts – as every hand was needed to help keep the business running. As she grew up, she struggled with her classes. Math, science, history, it just all seemed unimportant to her mind. However, not willing to let her parents down, Mel worked her hardest to learn from her classes. She spent her days studying and working at the bakery, passing up on spending time with potential friends. Currently she takes college courses online to obtain a degree and working part-time at a pet shop.

Personality: Mel is very independent. She dislikes receiving help from others and is strongly annoyed with people that instruct her on how to live her life. Because she has struggled to make her parents proud, she is annoyed by anyone who takes privileges for granted. She knows how to treat customers and can be kind and friendly; however because of her little interaction with friends, she is a little socially awkward.
