Disclaimer: Yes, this is an interest check, but it does not mean I am putting it up any time soon, unless sufficient interest is taking place. Other than that, this is just to check the general interest of people interested in playing in this roleplay.
About Allaria:
Allaria is set in a classical fantasy world of medieval set. In Allaria, the world was ran in a type of hierarchy, Gods, the Council, and then the leaders of the individual cities and tribes. However, over the past year or so, the power of the God’s has been waning, due to the appearance and subsequent rise of a different Council, one more down to earth and directly involved in the lives of the people, wherein the God’s and Old Council(as the first council will be referred to henceforth), are not. The God’s, which come in all different varieties, rest in heaven, whereas the Old Council lives on a peak set away from the world and are forced to put their trust in ‘Messengers.’ Taking advantage of these two facts, the New Council, the Apotheoses, have started taking over. At first, they were decent, turning people slowly with false promises, and with the undeniable truth: The God’s do not exist. People listened, for the Apotheoses were there, they were tangible, something the God’s and Old Council were not.
About the RP:
This time, Allaria will be taking place in chapter two. This chapter will pick up where the last chapter left off, or just before. The group of adventurers this time, will be focused on one of the following:
Rocoa to Valgar and Shian: Mostly centered around preparations of a war council meeting.
Ladengrove to Balmourg
Balder's Gate to Zerut.
I've not exactly decided. Each will have their own storyline, depending.
Chapter two will be heavily based on fighting, and preparing for a long war ahead. The players will primarily be people who've seen part of the war, from the beginning, and seeing exactly how hard many places have been hit. How the Apotheoses' promises of peace have turned dramatically and became a bloody war. The people likely won't be trained warriors or mages, but every day people coming together to take back what was theirs.

-Probably a Co-GM or two to lead quests, assuming there are a surplus of people. If not, then the extra people will come in as:
As a liaison or a guide at certain points
See how they work with the current group
Join if someone drops out

In Chapter 1, a gorup was formed to break free from Port Jinn, due to the last commands of the Gods. They were charged with getting past the attacking army, which was done. In this chapter, they met Fananatu, who was plotting against Eclava, a Drow Apotheoses' Councilwomen, and Ivan, the second in Command of the Apotheses. He managed to successfully sneak them into Rocoa, under the guise of them being new recruits. Eclava's nature was demonstrated when she broke a status of Lloth, the Drow Goddess, and made executions and rapes, as punishment, a spectacle. Ivan's nature and power was demonstrated, at the beginning when he was attempting to talk Port Jinn into a peaceful surrender. Upon not getting one, he grabbed the Mayor and dragged him through the streets, his power rapidly aging him and causing his insides to paint the roads red, all while keeping him alive. Eclava's second in command was prompted to Councilmember of the Apotheoses with command over another area, and a strange Jester has been popping up. Elsewhere, a War Council has been secretly called, and now the meeting is approaching within weeks - maybe months, a strange power has been found - and a dragon is missing.
Now, the Apotheoses' hold sway over the entirety of Allaria, but no one knows what they did it for. No one, but one odd jester.

Well Rilla, I'll say I am certainly in as much as I can throw my hat in the ring. I would certainly have to vote for playing through the journey of Rocoa to Valgar and Shian if only because the other options are not available for view on the map Rilla. What the hell? But sure, assuming this picks up some more interest I can certainly get involved for round two.

As it readily apparent my name is Dorian Gregory. I have been role playing for nearly fifteen years using both forums and other mediums. My humble beginnings started in a gaming chat room on Blizzard.net. From there I discovered probably the most impressive setting constructed by any group of individuals on DesertRealm.com. Now I spend most of my time working on finishing my trilogy of novels. The first book is in the editing stages and I have just finished chapter two of the second. Of course, I would love to get them published. I suppose one could say that is a goal of mine.
As a role player I often prefer to maintain at least a standard of High Casual or Advanced style. While many people prefer the game/fun aspect of role playing I use role playing as a way to maintain and improve my ability and vocabulary. While I will not specifically avoid one-on-one role playing I am generally more of a group participant with the exception of the Arena, which I would like to get more involved with. Genre provides no particular restrictions on me as I have wide array of interests. Science fiction is a large genre to cover including a plethora of sub-genres. I try to participate in a variety of threads from fan-fiction to fantasy, medieval, futuristic and most other sub-areas found in the Science Fiction genre.
As far as acting as a Game/Dungeon Master goes, I have not had much luck. I tend to be overly verbose or too tedious to read. But I have given it a shot and on other forums I have done so successfully. With that being said I generally avoid the position; however, that is not to say that I would not be making the attempt in the future.

Not really, you're better than some people. A few of them, at least. You used to be terrible on a Svenn and Nat (before I grew some tolerance for him) level, but now you're not that bad.
