Alright, so I started putting up the OOC< but I got called into work... an hour after they told me that they weren't going to be doing anything. So, because of that, the RP will be up a little later than initially planned. So, no fear.

I am very much interested in joining this rp. Most especially as it seems to be a continuation and therefore hasn't died yet. Good news always, right? But since I'm a complete newb to this Allaria business, I wonder if I might request a link of one of you good folks to the original? Or if you think a bit of background research is unnecessary? Keeping in mind, of course, that Nem seriously does not mind reading things.

Well technically it has died multiple times, but Rilla has brought it back each time... because of that the world and plot have been beat out a lot more than your average rp. We got through chapter 1 of Rilla's last attempt to do allaria a bit before last summer and then rilla decided to put it on hold for a while.

There really isn't much of a need to check around it though. You could look through the round/post summaries in the "In Game Events" section of there to get a basic idea of what happened in each of the quests going on there but since there were three quests and none of them will probably be directly related to this quest (aside for sharing NPCs) there isn't much of a need to do so. You could also check out the character depository for that quest and look at some of Rilla's NPC characters (Primarily Eclava, Ivan Angiel, Falden, Sarahix, and Fairst) to get an idea of who they are. But as far as I understand there is going to be a time skip and Rilla might be putting up new CSs for these NPCs so those might not be completely accurate.

Also that "putting up new CSs for the NPCs" thing was a guess on my part... knowing Rilla's lazy ass that probably isn't going to happen.

Ahah, well thank you very much for the link. Even if it likely isn't necessary, I like being familiar with a world and all the old stuff helps plenty with that.
