So, how about another story, eh? One where we leave Pandora for a while? Oh, it's gotten boring. You wouldn't want to hear another story about Pandora, trust me. Decades have passed since the second five Vault Hunters saved Pandora from the onslaught of Hyperion's army, and slew the Eridian Warrior before it got a chance to lay waste to the planet. These five Hunters, along with the surviving three original Vault Hunters, traveled throughout the galaxy, hunting down the Vaults revealed to them by the Key. However, they had no luck, and the Key was lost when they disappeared, fading into oblivion. Now, rumors of a Vault on the planet known as Elysius have arisen. Considering how much my father, Marcus, went on about how the two Vaults on Pandora were very real, and very much open, this story may interest you. Our story begins with four Vault Hunters, hoping to gain riches beyond their imagination. Had they heard about the contents of the last two Vaults to be open... Well, let's not spoil things.

Okay, so this takes place on Elysius, a planet I just came up with. I'm thinking the planet could be more tropical than Pandora was, yet every bit as dangerous. This planet is a lot more lush than Pandora, with the vast majority of the planet being covered in rich grasslands. Where Pandora was a desert world for the most part, this is more of a plains world, with maybe one or two deserts. Eridium is present here, though it's not as rich a source as Pandora. There are a few rainforests as well. As for the state of Pandora, it's a total wasteland. The Eridium mining operations rendered the whole planet an Eridium Blight, making it completely inhospitable. Pandora's dead, in other words.

However, Pandora didn't gradually become inhospitable. About five years ago, a very catastrophic event known as the Blightspread raged across the planet, killing many people. What caused the Blightspread is unknown, but there are rumors that Hyperion's Eridium mining operations caused it. Despite the fact that Handsome Jack was dead and the Warrior stopped, Hyperion remained a presence on Pandora, though they weren't actively trying to take over the planet. Hyperion basically replaced Dahl as Pandora's resident mining corporation, mining the Eridium that remained prevalent on Pandora for profit. What everyone that survived the Blightspread does know is that it was a time of elemental instability. Firestorms raged across Pandora. Acid rain was not uncommon, and the rain that fell seemed charged with electricity. As they raged, the ground became dead, and even the skags, who absorbed the elements like biological sponges, were driven to extinction during the event. The result was a completely lifeless planet. Every native Pandoran species was wiped out, and the ground would not grow any plantlife. However, Hyperion wasn't stopped by the Blightspread, and kept on mining Eridium. Even today, Pandora remains the galaxy's richest source of Eridium.

I am introducing something similar to Action Skills, though they don't have a cooldown or anything of that type. These special abilities can be passive or active. Since all the previous Sirens are definitely gone, I wouldn't mind you using one of their abilities. Though I would prefer that you create your own Siren ability like I'm doing. (Well, it's sort of recycling one, though I'm making it a standalone ability, rather than a side effect of a previous one). I'm also hoping that this RP will focus on

History: (Optional; Just because Marcus's son says they were seeking treasure doesn't necessarily mean it's true. He's only telling the story as he saw it. Perhaps your character has other reasons for coming to Elysius. What brings him there? That's really all I'm looking for in the history.)

Special Ability: Phaseblast: Unlike most Siren abilities, this ability is directly offensive. Rose can use Eridium to create a phaseblast similar to the one Lilith creates upon exiting her Phasewalk ability, forcing enemies away and damaging them. Should she come in contact with one of the elements, meaning fire, shock, corrosive, or slag, whilst charging herself with Eridium to be able to use the ability, her Phaseblast will be augmented with that element until the next time she charges herself with Eridium.

Personality: I'll reveal this IC

History: Rose was born on Pandora in the settlement of Fyrestone, which was repopulated with the defeat of Jack. Like when the first Vault Hunters came to Pandora, it remained quiet, unless a group of bandits decided to raid the place, but that's where Rose came in. It became apparent that Rose was a Siren when, after a bandit tried to kill her parents, she grew extremely angry and lost control of herself. The bandit was torn to pieces as she released her first Phaseblast ever when she was about 16. She took it upon herself to protect Fyrestone, and did so for almost ten years. When the Blightspread raged across Pandora, she was unable to protect the town. The Arid Nexus, being on top of the richest Eridium vein on Pandora, received the worst of it. Slag and liquid Eridium rained from the sky, and Rose only survived because she was charged with the falling Eridium and had become infused with the slag falling from the sky, causing her to be unharmed by it. Hyperion intervened quickly, landing a dropship near Fyrestone to pick up any survivors. Hyperion engineers in hazmat suits came to guide the only survivor into the ship, which was Rose. She was taken offworld, and left at Hyperion's survivor outpost located on Elysius, which was set up as quickly as possible to house survivors of the Blightspread. There weren't many when the whole planet went, maybe a hundred survivors total. When everything settled down and the dropships came to take the survivors where they wanted to go, Rose stayed on Elysius with about 25 other people in the settlement. This became a bit of a safe haven for those who wanted protection from bandits and the wildlife of Elysius, which was every bit as dangerous as the native predators of Pandora. Their protection was doubled up, with a Hyperion shield over the town, and a Siren to take care of anything that happens to get through. However, when rumors of the Vault on Elysius began to spread, Rose left the outpost, which came to be known as Haven, like the outpost on Pandora that was taken over by the Crimson Lance, and began her search for the Vault, hoping it contained something that could help her protect Haven even better than she already does.

Special Ability: "I AM THE GOD OF HELLFIRE! AND I BRING YOU......" Tony is superhuman in strength for obvious reasons (Like Brick, he can beat up a giant rocket-wielding robot into a pile of scrap with his bare hands). In fact, when he starts to charge at you, then there is no stopping him. When charging at something, Tony gets increased damage resistance, increased health regeneration and can reach speeds at which he catches fire and generates raw electricity, shocking and burning foes alike. If that wont kill 'em, the sheer force of the impact sure as hell will.

Personality: I prefer to reveal what there is to reveal in the IC.

History: Tony was born on Elysius. His family got killed off by bandits when he was 12, but the bandits spared him after he impaled a psycho on a rake, attacking the psycho after witnessing the gruesome death of his parents. The bandits beat him unconcious, took him to their camp and decided to raise him as a bandit. Since then, he has been living a bandits life, pillaging, murdering, looting, that sort of bandity stuff. He eventually became feared throughout the bandit clan that raised him, because he seemed to be stronger than most of the other bandits. At the age of 25, he seized control of the bandit clan after beating the previous leader into bloody pulp. The night after, he was attacked in his sleep by bandits who, inspired by his own actions, tried to take the leader position of the bandit clan. He killed much of his clan, but eventually he came up on the losing side and barely escaped with his life. Since then, he tried to get by as a mercenary, killing people and doing a wide variety of other odd-jobs. Mostly killing people though. When the rumors of the vault started to arise on Elysius, Tony saw this as his ticket to guns, glory and money. What's not to like in the vault for a psychopatic mercenary?
