    NaNoWriMo

Are there any other Wrimos out there? On this site?

For those of you who don't know it stands for National Novel Writing Month where people around the world attempt to write 50000 words in a month. I created this thread to see if there are any other Wrimos and see if others were interested in this. It starts 12:00 midnight 1st of November, short notice I know but if you really want to do it you will create an account ASAP. You can join from anywhere in the world, I mean anywhere. If you do wish to join here is the website.
    National Novel Writing Month

This is a place to boast your word count to other members of RPG participating, or just generally egg each other on help with plots etc.

If you want to find me their my username is the same as this one here.

Also I ask that you could post your nano usernames here so we can all add each other!
Mods is this close to advertising? I don't intend it to be just wanted to find out if there are kindred spirts around here.

I am indeed doing it. It'll be my third year attempting. Here's to hoping that this one will bring me to 50k or beyond!

I have done it before, twice - '07 and '08. First one was a Regency piece I tried playing with...only got about 5,000 in before I had ot shelve it because of school. In '08, I got 27,000 in writing another historical fiction, about the Great War this time.

This year? I'm breaking with "tradition" and gonna try a dark fantasy piece.

Zran, if you are 17 or under, you can join the Young Writers Program for NaNoWriMo and set your own wordcount, that doesn't have to be 50,000 words. ^-^
