1000 jedi and probably about the same amount of sith when they were at there largest and force lightning will not harm them, fore push will hold them of and light sabers might cut than but they could just blast them with some super weapons and say good by against the Y.V. once the replicators get the ships and planets like Coruscant than they would simply over whelm them.
my ability to visit Role-Playing guild is currently hindered since life has caught up to me I'll try to get on once a week though.

Bah, this is the most foolish thing I've seen so far. How else can you determine the answer to an objective question? Particularly in a discussion based on comparing two different things. If you had an argument about which two cars were faster, would you throw out all relevant data and just decide based on revving the engine?

Personally, I'd bank my money on the humans. Yes, the Earthlings. First reason, the Ancient Defense Shield powered by the Zero Point Module and a collection of drones. it doesn't matter how many starships get thrown at Earth. Those drones ignore shields, then burrow into a ship until it finds a critical system before exploding. That's some deadly weaponry. Oh yes, and they have two of those, one in Antartica and another mobile one in Atantis off the coast of the United States. In addition, Earthlings have the capacity to turn their planet invisible and intangible, have these things called Naquada Enhanced Nuclear bombs with more than 1000 gigaton yields capable of destroying a continent.

In the meantime, while the Earth can't be attacked directly the valiant soldiers of Stargate Command do what they do best. They learn about their enemies, what drives them, how their technology works and either use that knowledge to defeat their enemy's technology or convince them they shouldn't be attacking Earth to begin with.

So I'm foolish because I watch a movie just so I can enjoy and like it?

No, you're foolish for denouncing people for discussing objectively while in discussion. You want us not to discuss in a discussion?

Maybe this was the wrong thread to post it in, I don't mind discussions like these at all, because the idea of a Star Wars VS Star Gate something will never happen, and therefore no one will know for a fact which one will "win."

I really was just ranting about people that watch a movie and nitpick it flaws at realism. It's a movie, it's not supposed to exactly realistic.

Again, I did post that in the wrong thread.

    Stargate is amazing. Just saying.

With the cost with Star Wars, it has to be with the movies. Stargate, it can deal with a small budget and still looks to be great. With both, you can go outside of canon and have great stories. Since Star Wars is now part of Disney. i do nto know if it will be much better.
