Has anyone seen this movie yet, read the book, or by any chance done both? I saw it today and finished the book about two weeks ago and wanted to see how the Spam community took to it.
I can't say I was all that impressed, and by its lackluster opening box-office numbers, I think I can assume that the majority of Americans have felt the same way. It didn't stick to the nice "mountain" structure of the book which must have thrown off any casual viewers and it also skipped over chunks of story that might have helped those who had no exposure to the format beforehand. The final product was flashy, but did it resonate with any of you?
