Final Fantasy 9

So me and a friend of mine are going to be setting up an RP in the world of Final Fantasy 9. The Rp will be casual, there will be no use of the Canon characters however, instead fully original. All your choices will effect the world. Intrested guys?

I love Final Fantasy IX, but i will reserve judgement of my interest until i see a plot.

Simmular base plot, but there will be many changes made to acomodate main character's. In otherwords, let's say you are a black mage, but don't want to look like the default black mages. All the race of the Black mage would appear something like your character without losing their identity as the Black Mages. Simmularites and differences.

Another example, let's say our thief was not a Gnome , the race would keep it's name but appearances would change drastically.

Basically the opening will start very simmular to FF9, but upon escape of the Kingdom, that is where everything you do will decide on the fate of Gaia. Your choices will be toucher at some points. You could save your best friend, or the one you love. Everything that anyone does also effects the NPC, which can effect the entire foundation such as economy, your choices can be for the worst or the better of your friends, family, party, and the world, ultimately creating the final outcomes.

If I may, not all thieves are automatically Genomes. Hell, the entire Tantalus gang were thieves but only Zidane was a Genome. Surely it's not a stretch to imagine a non-Genome thief, then? As for the Black Mages, just refer to the race as Dolls (that's they are after all) and reserve the name Black Mage for the job class.

If I had to call dibs I would call it on the Knight/Paladin character. After all, Chris, you already know that Steiner is among my absolute favorite characters so why WOULDN'T I choose a role like his? Only mine will be more... well you'll see when I write the character itself.

I know that, I wasn't reffering to if you pick that race " My character is a Gnome, and He looks like THIS!" I'm saying most will have simmular features.

You can be the Knight, though he was no Paladin job class wise, he would be considered the Dark Knight job wise lol. Beatrix was a Paladin, she had no dark Magic, only holy based abilities.

I always considered him at least at least partially a Paladin. He DID have almost all of Beatrix's Paladin attacks like Shock and Climhazzard, after all.
