(VileSnake & Riven) Pokemon Journey
The sun was just rising over Viridan City, beaming though the window of Axel's hotel room. The Pokemon trainer squinted his eyes as he got up with a yawn. "Rise and shine I suppose." He said to himself as he got out of bed. He headed to the bathroom and got ready to continue his journey. He had been in Kanto for the last two day and the first thing he did was try to face the Viridan gym leader Gary. Despite his strong bond with his Blaziken named Torch, he got creamed. Well of course he only had one Pokemon. Gary told him once he obtain the other seven badges he could face him again. He would be much stronger. For now, he was heading to Pallet Town to get his Pokedex updated and of course meet Professor Oak. "Alright, we're all set." He said, standing right out of the entrance to the hotel he was staying in as he began venturing towards Pallet Town.

The Exile
Yet another beautiful morning; the sun was shining brightly and blessing the town of Pallet with it's warm rays, the sound of singing pidgey and other bird pokémon heard as flocks of them took flight over the town. As the sun's light invaded Anne's room, waking her up from a rather peaceful sleep, she extended her arms in a stretch followed by a long, tired yawn. "Aah, guess it's finally time," She murmured, moving her hands to rub her eyes. Slowly pushing herself off from her bed, the girl wobbled over to the bathroom, spending a while to take a bath and wash the tiredness away. Now finally ready and properly dressed in a jeans short shorts, all star shoes, a rather small shirt and a hoodie over it - and lastly, the most important item; a pokéball which held Squirtle, which she had named Aqua. The girl took a small while to eat breakfast, brush her teeth, and then finally left her house.
The pokémon lab was a short walk away, and she soon arrived by the door, greeted by none other than Professor Oak. Today she was going to receive her pokédex, as well as basic starting gear to finally start her adventure; or rather, challenge. Beating all the gym leaders and getting all the badges so she could join the league, it was a rather high dream, but Anne had enough determination for it.

The walk to Pallet Town was quite peaceful to an extant. Axel didn't run into any wild Pokemon. However he did run into a trainer battle to which he brought out his new acquired Pidgey which he named Glyde to battle. He was able to win the battle, not mainly because the trainer's Pokemon was a grass type, but mainly how him and Glyde. After winning he congratulated Glyde and healed him up with a potion before returning him to his pokeball. "Hmm......it should the big house on the south part of the town." Axel whispered to himself as he observed the town. "Ah ha.There it is." He pointed to the lad as he ran to it. Man I can't wait. Once I upgead my Pokedex I'll be able to get on with my adventure. I wonder what people and friends I'll meet as well as what Pokemon I'll encounter.

Anne walked inside of the pokémon lab, her curious and wide eyes analyzing everything that could be seen into it. She always had a small curious part about unknown things... But soon she realized that Oak was standing just in front of her, holding a pokédex in her direction as he cleared his throat. "Hello there, Anne. Finally starting, are you not?" His question was a bit redundant, but he soon realized it himself. "... Well, anyway, I don't wish to hold you for any longer as I'd assume you're very excited for your journey, so I will just give you a brief information about this. This is a pokédex, it holds knowledge on every pokémon existing in this region, and it's also some sort of identification so people will know that you are in fact a registered trainer. With this, you can also record data on-" Before he could complete, he had the pokédex snatched from his hand with a "Aaaaaha, I know all that, silly! Thank you! But as you assumed, I'm dying to start on my journey, and that 'brief' information was going to take much longer, I just know it." ... And with that said, the girl started to skip out of the laboratory, her eyes staring down at the newly found pokédex as she already toyed around with it.

"Ah, so this is it." Axel said, gazing up at the Pokemon lab. Being such a big place it stuck out like a sore thumb in this small town. He kind of felt silly that he had to stop and look for it when he arrived. "Boy I can't wait to meet Professor Oak. I hope he's like what Professor Birch had told me about him. I wonder if I can his autograph." Were all things he was whispering to himself as he head in. He however didn't notice the girl skipping out of the lab a they were about to bump into each other.

Obviously far too distracted with her new and rather important toy, Anne didn't notice that a boy had just entered the pokémon lab, and when she finally glanced up, it was a wee bit too late. She moved straight into him, bumping herself against the boy before falling back with an overdramatic, "Ouch, oww!", The impact wasn't all that strong, but she felt on her rear, which was actually a bit painful. Slowly looking over at the boy with her eyebrows furrowed, only to notice that she never saw him around, at all. "... Hmpf, are you blind or something? Damn, that hurt."

Axel stumbled back falling on his back. Luckily though, his backpack took in most of the impact. Though he wasn't as overdramatic, but rather calm. "Heh, look who's talking. You obviously weren't paying attention as well." He replied with. Quickly getting himself up, he brushed himself off and walked over to the girl, extending his hand to help her up. "Well, are you just gonna sit there all day?" Axel then asked.

Anne looked up at the boy as he got up and walked over to her, extending his hand. "Hmpf." She grunted, before taking his hand and lifting herself up from the ground with his help, using a single hand to brush her shorts, as the other one was a bit busy holding the pokédex. "No, I was just waiting for you to help me, as it was your fault for making me fall, anyway." Oh, so arrogantly annoying, she was, and after the little moment of complaining passed, she eyed the boy over curiously. "You're a trainer? Odd, I thought I knew everyone who was going that route around here, yet I've never seen ya around."

Axel scowled a little bit for the girl blaming him for the whole run in. "Well, maybe it hasn't occurred to you that I'm not from around here." He said to her before walking right passed her. Man, what an annoying brat. He thought to himself as he walked up to the Professor. "Hello there Professor Oak. I'm here to have my Pokedex upgraded." He said to the man holding out his Pokedex.
The old professor turned around to Axel, smiling. "Ah you must be Axel, from Hoenn. Professor Birch has told me about you." Oak replied with.
"I've heard plenty from him about you as well."
"Is that so? Well I'm glad. Don't worry. Your Pokedex will only take a few minutes to upgrade."
"Cool. Hey, if it's not too much trouble.......Can I.....have your autograph?" Axel asked the which Oak just laughed a little bit.

Anne just turned herself to watch him as he walked past her, her eyebrows furrowing. Oh what a rude brute, bumps into me and doesn't even apologies. Though something had caught her interest... Professor Birch told Professor Oak about him, huh... So that boy probably wasn't a mere trainer, to be known by rather famed professors like that. The girl also couldn't hold back a small, quiet giggle when he asked for Oak's autograph. To her, it was a bit worthless as living in the same town as that man had made her used to him, but she could understand what he meant to trainers who lived far from Pallet Town. Oak was, after all, a wide known pokémon researcher.
She waited just a moment before walking outside... only to wait at the door. She was going to wait for that boy, because he still owed her apologies. As well as his name.
